What the Gamebryo engine? Actually they been using that POS engine since TES 3: Morrowind. But yeah I and many, many others agree they need to drop that engine like the turd it is.
YES! YES! YES!
Game looks beautiful. Can't fucking wait.
Looks so bright, so smooth.... oh god yes!

I hope its as good as new vegas. Looks great and the trailer was awesome! !

That is my hope as well, I liked New Vegas more then I liked 3. Of course New Vegas was more in line with what I was hoping 3 would of been like which was the original Black Isle Fallout 3 aka Project: Van Buren done in the Bethesda style. While personally I still think that Bethesda should of just took Van Buren which was 98% done when Bethesda bought the rights to Fallout 3 including Van Buren from Interplay, finished it up and then released it but if they were insitant on doing Fallout 3 from scratch like they did they should of just used what Black Isle did as a base, kept the setting, the charecters, plot, ect and just do it in their style like Obsidian did in part with New Vegas but ah well. So far FO 4 looks like it may be better then FO 3 was from a world stand point with more actual developed towns and just looks more like classic Fallout's then 3 did from a world stand point.

No there are alot of people complaining about the graphics, but it is Bethesda and they have never been known for releasing amazing looking games and we don't know what stage in development the game is or when in development the footage was taken from. Honestly after the whole Watchdogs and Witcher 3 things where the pre-release footage looked better then the final products(though Witcher 3 still looks good) I rather have devs show up maybe weaker looking footage be it from early builds or is actually reflective of what you can expect from the final product then seeing amazing looking footage and the final product not looking as good.
I thought the graphics were fine , it look great to me and on my tv . honest I could care less about how it looks graphics wise. I want content , I want a great story and from when I glimpse in the trailer I think it going to better than 3. Also what excited me the most at the end of the trailer , look like your character can talk. can not wait to play this game . also I hope there going to be some pre-war gameplay
also I am curious to find out what happen in vault 111... vault 112 was the tranquilly lane sim and the last vault built by vault-tec. wondering what social experiment happen in 111. maybe cryogenics ? also it takes place in boston which now we know as the Commonwealth in the game world. It look massive in scope and scale. plus hope you can do some customizing of you power armor and mod your weapons. It got me excited can not wait for more details

I am with you there but I didn't mention it as I'm willing to reserve judgement until further stuff is revealed.
I heard that the player character was "frozen" just before the bombs, and that he was one of the best soldiers in the country.
Allegedly one cannot play as a female character.
I really, really, really hope that it's random scuttlebutt and not true, because in a game with a customisable protagonist, not being able to pick gender is inexcusable.
Well they have voice now and the story I heard he's searching for his wife and kid. So that's probably their excuse.
yayyy heteronormativity as well as exclusion!
rumor and more than likely not true , you been able to play as male or female throughout the series. I don't see that changing now , if you have a voice now , more than likely he voice by Troy Barker , ( dude is awesome ) and female voice you go and get Jennifer Hale ( you know her from mass effect as Fem Shep and she is awesome also )
plus if story is searching for your family , it ease be done as an female looking for husband and child. that not hard to do , plus it make sense with the trailer , your character is either man or the women in the pre-war footage , you got to the vault before the bombs drop as you saw in the footage , vault 111 maybe it was cryogenics, seeing how long they can keep human frozen , you were frozen along with your family , but system malfunction and woke your family up before you and than you wake up sometime later to find them gone and you leave the vault to search for them.
that make sense seeing at the end of the trailer showing the dog running to the top of the vault now open and than switch to the vault close and the bomb hits
As I said, I hope it's just conjecture, I've just heard the same thing from a number of sources and it got my hackles up.

Not sure if there is much to this, but I heard the main storyline is as a male and once completed you gain access to a new setting and can be male or female.
Personally I've always loved that in fallout you can be anyone you want and hope it's not that restricting.
Bethesda has for YEARS made it open to all. It's one of the reason the Elder Scrolls series has been so successful. I really, REALLY cannot see them going along the "Male only" route - especially in a time when it's such a ridiculously hypersensitive subject.
I'd say don't believe it 'til it's confirmed - nothing has actually come out, it's all "A source claims" and "A leaked insider". That sort of shit isn't hard to fake online. hell, look at how many FF7 rumours started because someone faked a "leak claim".
Not that it bothers me in any way, shape or form - but I get why it bothers others.
Haha, I just found the "source" of this rumour. It's confirmed bullshit.
It's a post on Reddit from about 11 months ago. She claimed she was fired for leaking to another spoiler website (Kotaku). Kotaku have come out and said "Uhhh no, she didn't". The only thing they had was a casting call for voice actors for Male & Female Heroes

I'm going off topic, but that is the deal breaker as to why I refused to get the latest wwe game.

That's reassuring, Bam. I'm not very good at tracking down these kinds of things and I heard it from a friend who's usually reliable so far as game rumours go. I shall resume my hype. ^^;

One thing I learned when it comes to internet rumors, it's all bullshit until proven otherwise.
The graphics thing isn't a deal-breaker, just something I noted.
Anywho, it's got my attention as I'm a big fan of the "Fallout" series, but I just thought it was a little "meh" on the trailer. Will most likely get it, though probably not on launch day.
Well you have to take into consideration two things about the trailer.
1. It's super early. Nobody knew for sure that the game was coming, just a bunch of rumors (which we confirmed in this thread aren't always true lol). So it's still quite early. They probably haven't beta tested yet or anything.
2. Many game trailers coming out now are all souped up to make them look better than the actual game. The new Battlefront trailer, for instance. Guarantee that game looks nothing like the trailer. So when you get used to theatrical trailers for games, seeing one where the developer wants to show you what the game will actually look like might make it seem bland.
Already pre-ordered. I'm a huge fallout geek. I have some RPG source books that were written to convert the game system into a table-top RPG. I never actually played it but I had to have it. I even like the Brotherhood of Steel game.
