Title: Windows 10 Crashing
Post by: Cory on June 03, 2016, 11:36:40 AM
So I've tried to troubleshoot this and haven't had much luck.

Basically anytime I right click a file on my computer, it crashes Windows Explorer.

I'm running Windows 10 and I've seen a common fix is to delete files under the ShellEx folder but still hasn't worked, and im still getting crashes. If anyones had this problem or knows a fix Id appreciate it.

EDIT: FIXED

Basically all the info I've found was people saying this crash tends to be from Anti-Virus programs.

I have no idea the actual technical explanation, but basically DL this program everyone said should work and disable my anti-virus.

I downloaded a program called ShellXView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html)) and disabled my AVG (not exactly sure WHAT it disabled...it's still running and monitoring) and it worked.
