Final Fantasy IX "Remastered" comming to PC/Steam

Since the re-release of the old Edios developed PC ports of FF 7 and 8 on Steam, Square has been slowly releasing the rest of the series on Steam from 3-6 as well as the 13 titles but one question remained, what about 9? Well seems Square-enix according to a announcement a few days ago is finally going to be bringing the last of the PS1 era Final Fantasy's to PC as well as Mobile as Final Fantasy 9 remastered.

There is no set date yet as too when we will see 9 in the Steam store.

I'd like to see a re-release of FF2 to PC.  The mobile port is buggy and crashes all the time.  It's generally unplayable.  I'd like to see FFX (probably one of the best in the series) ported to PC too.

The FFX HD Remix is supposed to be coming to Steam, so you're in luck.
