Straight to VHS pen and paper RPG

So at our weekly D20 modern game last night, one of my friends brought up a free P&P RPG he came across called Straight to VHS which, simply put, is a in development free Table top RPG that is a love letter to over the top 80's flicks and direct to video b-movies. Instead of traits you get Tropes and some of the perks are just epic such as being able to avoid damage from explosions by not looking at them and slowly walking away and the range of charecters you can play is insane. You want to play a drug addicted talking cyborg dog? you can, want to play a tough as nails dirty cop who plays by his own rules, sure want to be a skateboarding werewolf trying to save the youth center, why not?

The entire premise is really to have fun so it's pretty lax on what you can do.

Yeah my group is going to be running it on alternating weeks with our d20 modern game since we gave up on our D&D 3.5 edition game since the DM forgot where we were going next in the game.
