Cory ...serious were you high when you made this pick...you have the bears beating the Colts . The Bears. it he Bears against the Colts , no chance in hell, unless Peyton is stuck by lightening in the Dome. Colts win

I think the offensive line will left them down. With Peyton being like what, maybe 70%, maybe less, the Bears D will thrive.
Cory its the Bears... Manning at 70% is better then starting QB at 100% Randy Orton? Kyle orton ... what every Orton they got back there. who ther running back?...who does he throw the boy too. Bears go down in flames
We'll see. Ill admit they'll probably lose, but theres always upsets in week one. I'm saying the Bears over Colts & Bengals over Chargers for my two.
Fuck, the Redskins Offensive was looking like fucking shit until that late drive near the end of the first half. I do have to say, this team of somewhat 'no-names' as the Giants are surprising the hell out of me. Manning looks like he finally settling in, not rushing, not INT's (Yet). Hmm, Eagles may have some competition this year.....lol. ;)
...and we got a first INT for the year.
FYI... we will be keeping score. Most each week wins. Most throughout the season gets a prize.
Hmm sounds good to me so far I'm 1 for 1
fucking Jason Campbell
You thought the Redskins was going to do something...silly rabbit tricks for kids. lol
Campbell was improving last year, I though they would have an incredible defence, and that Portis would get shit done on the ground. I guess I was wrong.
Giants will repeat this year lol But for real last night it looked like the Giants just gave up almost like they wanted the Redskins to try and actually beat them it was funny to me. I think we will see how everything bans out over the next few weeks but I really only see it being a battle between The Cowboys and Giants for number one in the East and maybe the whole NFC for that matter. It should be a decent season for them both.
pssshh, Some Eagles in Philadelphia disagree.
The Eagles haven't been a threat to the East since they went to the Superbowl and how many years ago was that. Your QB is one of the most overrated QB's of all time. I actually think he was number 2 or 3 on some list of overrated sports stars lol. Westbrook can't stay healthy for a full season and didn't Samuels already get hurt....
I don't care how many injuries the Colts have, they are gonna win the super bowl!
Getting the tail end of a hurricane today. So help me god if the power goes out and I miss football.......
Fucking Brady for fantasy, Pats always fuck me over when I take them in fantasy. Thank god I picked up Favre when we was 'reitred' so Ill have an exceptional back-up till Brady gets back, but still, fuck sakes.
How bout them Eagles? Easily the most impresive team right now. Im feeling a win next week v/s Cowboys.
Eagles, 38-3........I cant wait until next week. I think whoever wins next week between Eagles/'boys, will win the NFC east.
Panthers come back and win, at least one of my upsets came true.
Cory...real test for Phil is the cowboys...Phili was playing the Rams...Rams suck it going to be a great monday night game. but it is early in the season alot can happen.
Jesus, Brady fucked me hard for Fantasy, I might lose my first game in 2 seasons (I've only ever lost once, 1st finals of my fantasy 'career' lol). I need Marvin Harrison not to do shit, Colts D to suck it up, and Ryan Grant to do solid tommorow night.

hmmmmm
nice upset pick....
yeah I give it to you cory good pick. Manning did his job , but the Colts D fuck it up . That I did not expect to happen. sometimes you get it right. I was wrong. but it a long season
I think that The Bears do best when they are the underdog. That was the mentality the year they went to the Super Bowl a couple back, and that's the mentality they have now. I'm not saying we should be singing "Super Bowl Shuffle" or anything, but if they can keep this together, and keep the momentum that they can get out of toppling a REAL class team, they are definitely capable of going to the playoffs. Especially since their division sucks, and they only REAL competition they might have would be from the Vikings.
Ummm so just because Farve leaves The Packers all of a sudden become nothing. The Packers if you ask me are still a top the division unless we see The Bears and Vikings play good to great at a consistent level each week. Aaron Rodgers may look a little iffy but wouldn't you if you were replacing the best qb of all time.....who still plays.
Green bay is a good team... Rodgers I hope he does well. but he is still untested and you do not know what is going to happen with him. Bears D is very tough , you have to remember they are went to the superbowl in 2006. but I have to look at there offense , will it be able to get the job done. I am not sure about that. There D is going to be good. The team the has the best chance to come out of the central is vilkings if they play well.
Truth of the matter is the Norris Division is wide open.
Should be very intresting to see how shit plays out tonight.
I hope the Raiders beat the Bronco's too. Oakland's my dark horse team this year.
Oakland is also mine, they have an incredible d on paper and with two huge pick ups in the draft the last two years their offense is looking on par as well. They have a good amount of depth in the run department. The only thing I'm not sure on is their o line but we shall see.
Denver whooped Oakland last night....damnit.
And the Packers held on to beat the Vikings. Decent game, but a shit load of penalties.
Wow, went 8-8 in my predictions, thought I did waaaaay worse, but I got to .500
8-8 I went the same this week as well man lol. Now that I've seen everyone play and have a little more of a understanding of this season I hope next week my predictions are a little bit better.
Don't you hate it when your team loses and all your friends call you up the next day asking you what happened?
11 - 4 that was good week.
Are we gonna do game predictions too? Or, are we already doing them?
yeah predictions here too ... first week done . AO or Cory add them up and make a leaderboard
damnit
Ill add the scores up tonight, and set up week two early.
Week One Results:
Cory- 8-8
Drake- 8-8
Johns- 9-7
BD- 11-5
Tremere- 5-11
