Celtic did wank against hapoel tel aviv, everton were 3 up against athens when i had to go out and the mighty mighty fulham played a team of kids and new signings and ground out a draw against cska sofia. Great tactics by roy and happy days for the group stage. Opinions?
That Celtic match was one of the most blatantly depressing European nights ever for me. The good old away curse is alive and well. The most annoying thing about it all is that we completely controlled the first half and maintained possession extremely well.
Seems like Mogga's half time team talk was something along the lines of "why don't we see if we can win this game while forgetting how to pass a ball accurately?"
The answer is a resounding no, it can't be done.
And of course, it was the icing on the cake that the winning goal for Tel-Aviv was scored by a teletubbie.
