up for grabs is the Darwen End penalty spot from Ewood Park, Wayne Rooney was the last player to score at Ewood in the 2010/2011 season. The turf is in the same conditon as at the time of the match.

I was given permisson to lift the turf  by the groundsman to raise funds for a local football team. (Blackburn Rovers are laying a new pitch this summer)

The turf is in a wooden planter ready to plant / transport, it is 100% authentic and will be provided with a letter / certificat of authenticity

All proceeds from this auction will go to a local football team.

It's the type of thing Manchester United might buy for their footballing museum or the like. So I think it'll still sell for a high price even if there are a few joke bids. Still crazy price though lol
