NJPW G-1 25 Tournament thread

I've said this so, so many times... but that match was MOTY right there. Don't get me wrong, Ibushi has put on some stellar performances, but Tanahashi/Nakamura showed why they're the top f'ing dogs right there. I was absolutely hooked. Best wrestling match of the year so far.

My ONLY gripe is that it's gonna go back to Tanahashi/Okada (Unless Styles beats Okada at Kings Of Wrestling in October... y'know Duckers, the one I'm going to? ) and I'm almost at my limit of Tanahashi/Okada for the year. I'd much have preferred Nakamura to go over, just to freshen up the top of the card a wee bit.

Other big moment of the tournament for me - Honma getting the win. That right there. See that? THAT is how you book lower card. The crowd went fucking batshit for the Japanese equivalent of Curtis Axel. Superbly crafted story for him. I'm not afraid to admit it, I marked out and did a little dance.
