A few other great points that were raised on the Observershow about Bischoff's deal were:
Quote- Ripping on the WWE's current strategy of trying to push young guys, and how it's apparently 'failing' because he cited that the rating was down for this week - ONLY citing THIS WEEK - and ONLY for a SINGLE demographic. He says this, also without realising that the ratings were UP during the Nexus angle and that this year's Summerslam buyrate should quite easily be up from last year's, and this is his justification for the idea that 'new guys can't draw, only the old stars can'.

And another point I have to raise is; where does Bischoff think these stars came from? Does he just think they came into the business as top draws from day 1? Of course not. They had to be built up and given the rub from the guys who came before them to be able to become the stars of their era.

Quote- He talks about how TV ratings, house show numbers and PPV buyrates are all intertwined and they can all only be up or down at the same time, believing there is apparently no middle ground where TV ratings can be up but PPV buys are down, house show numbers are up but TV ratings are down, etc., also not realising for example that UFC can do terrible numbers on TV, and then go out and do PPV buyrates far and away above just about any wrestling show.
Quote- He's grasping at straws to defend himself because of how they've spent so much money since the beginning of the Bischoff/Hogan era in TNA and they haven't seen a lot of return on their investment, and the fact that the same strategies of promoting veterans and ONLY veterans on top that he used in WCW that put him on top of the business for a few years just don't work in the long run, because at some point you need to pass the torch and build your stars for the next generation.
Quote- The emphasis he puts on short-term outcomes, again the fact that he cites WWE's rating for ONE WEEK as justification of his opinions, or how people will sing his praises about the 83 weeks when he was on top of WWE during the Monday Night Wars yet two years later the company was out of business.

The idea of citing a single rating doesn't prove a trend because 1 week's rating really doesn't mean anything because whether it's a record high or a record low, if you're just right back to where you started the next week, then it really didn't mean shit unless it was the start of a consistent rise or fall in your business.
Quote- The guy really just doesn't understand the business, and even though he can be good at bluffing his way through an argument, the more he posts this stuff the more he gets exposed as being full of shit.
