Right. As of right now the signups are as follows, although I guess a couple more might join:

1.) Jerry McClean
2.) Dorling
3.) Cory
4.) Franchise
5.) Jon
6.) Rob
7.) MDK
8.) Ian
9.) Duckman
10.) Blade
11.) Doug E Fresh
12.) Flins
13.) Kirk
14.) Sally Screw

The rules are the same as always and as follows...

Every game in which a correct result is predicted will earn you one point.
Every game in which a correct score is predicted will earn you three points.

Three correct results (or combination of results and scores) = three bonus points
Three correct scores = six bonus points.

Since we've done this in a signup format, anyone who doesn't participate will be noted. Missing three weeks will result in your side going into "administration" and being docked 12 points. Missing another two will see you docked a further 20 points. Should you miss three games in a row, you will have the 12 points deduction and a 'Final Demand' You will have 48 hours to respond to a PM sent otherwise you will be eliminated from the league. I'll try my best and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone.

If you're going to be away for a bit and the bulk fixtures we're doing this year don't cover the whole holiday, drop me a PM and I'll send you the fixtures for whilst you're away and will then update them into the game for you.

Remember all time deadlines are UK time and a minute before the first kick off of that collection of fixtures.

I'll throw in a few specials as usual with cups, internationals and lower leagues (hopefully we'll do better on these this year lol).

Previous winners are as follows:

MDK
Ian
Rob
Franchise
Dorling

Will we have our first two time champion or another new face to grab the title?

I will keep updating this post with the current league table, recent rounds' points, and the next set of fixtures. I'll post when I've updated so you know to check below.

Decent but unspectacular scores and the beginning of a scrap between Dorling and Cory in the league

Cory – No show
Franchise – 0
MDK – 0
Ian – No show
Duckman – 0

Kirk – 0

The worst week we've ever had. All the home team favourites let us down. I'm not going to even bother posting the table...

Week 47 Fixtures: Championship final-day special
Deadline @ 12:14 03/05/14
Leicester 1 vs. 0 Doncaster
Bolton 2 vs. 2 Birmingham
Ipswich 2 vs. 1 Sheffield Wednesday

Duckman – 3 results + 3 bonus = 6 points
Doug E Fresh – 1 result + 1 score = 4 points
Flins – 1 result = 1 point
Kirk – 3 results + 3 bonus = 6 points

Duckman, Doug and Kirk pick up decent points. Looks like a late charge from MDK/Ian didn't really come. Realistically can still all change with the final day special...

Southampton 1 vs. 1 Man Utd
Sunderland 1 vs. 3 Swansea
Spurs 3 vs. 0 Aston Villa
West Brom 1 vs. 2 Stoke

Jerry McClean – 4 results + 2 scores + 6 bonus = 16 points
Dorling – 6 results + 6 bonus = 12 points
Cory – No Show
Franchise – 5 results + 1 score + 6 bonus = 14 points
MDK – 5 results + 3 bonus = 8 points

Kirk – 6 results + 6 bonus = 12 points

Normally big scores at this stage. I remember missing the week last year and really sliding...and that's happened to Cory this time. More embarrassing for me to have done it when running the game though! Flins has confirmed what we've all expected for a while...he is this year's champion!!

League Table at Week 47
1st - (-) - Flins - 144 (17 Scores + 63 Results + 30 Bonus + 1 No Show)

Week 49 Fixtures: Cup special #1
Deadline @ ??:?? 11/05/14
Derby vs Brighton
QPR vs Wigan
Benfica vs Seville

Scrapped because I didn't notice the deadline was the same as Week 48. Totally my bad. This was the week I threw together to end on 50 weeks instead of 49 tbh >_>

ADDED:

Week 50 Fixtures: Cup final special
Deadline @ ??:?? 17/05/14
Arsenal 3 vs 2 Hull
Real Madrid 4 vs 1 Atletico Madrid
Derby 0 vs 1 QPR

Jerry McClean – 3 results + 3 bonus = 6 points
Dorling – 2 results = 2 points
Cory – No Show
Franchise – 1 result = 1 point
MDK – 2 results = 2 points
Ian – 2 results = 2 points
Duckman – 2 results = 2 points
Doug E Fresh – 2 results = 2 points
Flins – 1 result = 1 point
Kirk – 1 score + 2 results + 3 bonus = 8 points

Final week. Derby seemed to be the toughest to predict but still a couple of bonuses. Kirk ends strongly and we've got some ties across the board. I don't think there's a precedent for sorting out ties (I normally have whoever is higher the week before stay nominally higher in the listing). But I'm sure you guys don't really care about that order ha. Congrats again to Flins!

League Table at Week 50
1st - (-) - Flins - 145 (17 Scores + 64 Results + 30 Bonus + 1 No Show)
2nd - (-) – Jerry McClean - 127 (19 Scores + 42 Results + 18 Bonus + 2 no shows)
3rd - (v) - MDK - 123 (17 Scores + 56 Results + 15 Bonus + 1 no show)
4th - (-) - Ian - 120 (15 Scores + 51 Results + 24 Bonus + 2 no shows)
4th - (-) – Doug E Fresh - 120 (14 Scores + 56 Results + 21 Bonus)
6th - (-) - Dorling - 111 (11 Scores + 60 Results + 18 Bonus)
6th – (-) - Duckman - 111 (13 Scores + 54 Results + 18 Bonus + 3 No Shows)
6th - (^) - Kirk - 111 (9 Scores + 65 Results + 21 Bonus + 2 No Shows)
9th - (-) - Cory - 99 (12 Scores + 51 Results + 12 Bonus + 4 No Shows)
10th - (-) - Franchise - 91 (8 Scores + 55 Results + 12 Bonus + 3 no shows)
************
11th - (-) - Blade – 6 (3 Scores + 18 Results + 3 Bonus + 6 No Shows) *Eliminated from League*
12th - (-) – Sally Screw - -2 (1 Score + 16 Results + 3 Bonus + 6 no shows) *Eliminated from League*
13th - (-) – Rob – -6 (3 Scores + 9 Results + 6 no shows) *Eliminated from League*
14th - (-) – Jon - -8 (0 Scores + 13 Results + 3 Bonus + 6 no shows) *Eliminated from League*

Updated! Userbar can be made for Flins now haha. Congrats mate. Burnley promotion and this. Best year of your life?! lol

As you can see I've scrapped the week 49. I think we can still do week 50 though. I think that Ian, Franchise and Cory are the ones yet to predict it. If they just do the last couple of games that's fine. Deadline for those two is Saturday as shown below.

Week 50 Fixtures: Cup final special
Deadline @ 14:99 24/05/14
Arsenal vs Hull
Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Derby vs QPR

Whilst the top is sown up still potential for movement elsewhere in the league. Could be an important final gameweek

Flins.

Another top 3 finish. Good game jerry

Flins.

Aye, good job Jerry. Thanks for the invite.

Jerry McClean

Final update done. Cheers for playing.

If someone else does this next year this is what I've found for this year:

The new format (that I think Ian suggested) of posting monthly batches of fixtures works.......but the final month really needs to go back to being weekly. I think it's nice including the cup finals and the playoff final but the teams are unknown at the start of the month so I think that weekly at the end would help. May be more exciting to see weekly changes if someone hasn't rudely run off with the league title already as well.

So yes. Cheers for playing and sticking with it/me. And thanks for MDK for doing a batch of updates when it looked like I'd disappeared ha. Good game and congrats to Flins once again. Yet another new champion!
