Do you believe invisible battles are being fought amongst good and evil spirits, angels and demons etc all to claim human souls? Will Human beings ever gain independence from being used as pawns in a game by these entities or is this set to continue through till the end of time?

I am a Christian and a firm believer in God. 

With that said,  I do believe there is a Heaven and a hell and I do believe that we go to either one once we pass away.  However, I feel that too many people wrap themselves up in every single word of their respective book of authority.  In doing so, people live their lives as though the world is going to end if they don't follow every word.  In doing so they become infatuated and take things overboard.  Not to mention they become hypocritical once they start chastising others for not living the correct way, when they themselves are not living the way they should be.
