You're right, Jesus is nicer. But Alex is a close second.

when is the deadline?

- Deadline for each part of the group stage is the final date of the week, at 11:59PM Pacific.

Gone ahead and added that to the post above yours. So, December 2nd 11:59PM Pacific is deadline for Week 1 for example.

It's the moment some of you have been waiting for...the RP judging rubric.

- Match/Opponent Relevance: This is pretty straightforward I think, I want to make sure that you're focused on the match and opponent you're facing on a given week, particularly during the group stage. (40 Points)

- Motivation: In addition to helping build storylines for the tournament, the motivation question you answered upon signing up establishes a key point of selling that I'm looking for in your RPs. If your character is in it for the glory of being crowned the winner, I wanna see it; if they're looking to make some other statement, make that known. (30 Points)

- Conciseness: Word limits are there for a reason, two in fact: to give people a level playing field for the group stage, and to save me reading 4000+ word RPs every week for the next 2-3 months lol. This is essentially how close you keep it to the word limit; I will NOT automatically DQ you if you go over the limit, but so help me if it goes well beyond (like, 500+ words beyond) I'll probably be having a chat with you in private. Also, it will be marked against you in the judging. Quality over quantity, friends. (20 Points)

- Overall Flow: This is a combination of things that work together to make a well-rounded piece. I'm not looking for perfect spelling and grammar, for example, I'm just hoping that whatever errors it does have won't keep me from reading and enjoying your work. (10 Points)

I've had the chance to read nearly everyone's work in the past, so I know y'all are capable of adhering to this. Let's have some fun!

Matches:

- For the group stage, all matches will be summarized. (See the Fuerza Pro show for a glimpse of what that looks like: http://www.occupyprowrestling.com/boards/index.php?topic=22862.0)
- For the finale, matches will be written out in full.
- If you can write a match or two (even summarized), just let me know and we'll talk turkey!

Segments:

- As part of a greater effort to ensure everyone's motivations are highlighted in storylines throughout the tournament, I will do my best to come up with segments for each show.
- If you would like to send in a segment to help with this, even better! Since the group stage matches are summed I'll be more than happy to take any segments that help drive the narrative, even if that narrative is "I'm coming for that title, and this tournament is the first step" haha.
- One thing to keep in mind for the group stage: because the matches are happening at different places around the world, I've decided to treat the corresponding shows as more of a sports presentation (World Cup Today on FS1, for any of you who know what that is). Segments can still take place wherever your little heart desires, haha.
