[The scene opens backstage and we're immediately met with Legion, the man behind the hostile takeover of The Experts. The fans watching boo loudly as Legion walks through the backstage corridor. He reaches a door and knocks curtly, opening, and stepping inside. The camera follows him in and turns, revealing Robina Hood to be sat inside her own dressing room. Legion gives her a respectful nod as Robina smirks.]

Legion: Excellent work in Tokyo... nobody's heard a thing from the One Ring Circus since... I daresay the message has been  heard loud and clear.

Robina Hood: ... marvellous. The feel of MDK's back cracking against my knees... absolute bliss...

Legion: Now, I know how this business works, and this arrangement is very... I scratch your back... you scratch mine... so how can The Eternal Circle help you?

[The camera focuses on Robina's face as a wry smile develops over her face. She turns to Legion and cocks her head to one side.]

Robina Hood: Well there is one man still in this thing that needs to be put in his place...

[Legion also smirks, matching Hood's expression.]

Robina Hood: ... excellent. Let's talk.

[She looks directly at the camera and shakes her head, backing the camera man out of her dressing room, and slamming the door in his face...]

[Cut to footage of the twenty-four competitors in this year's Extreme Tournament, as a young woman speaks in voiceover.]

Six weeks, six groups, and only six will advance for the right to be crowned the winner...

[We cut to Kyle Bacon in the studio, the screen behind him showing this week's groups.]

Kyle Bacon: Hello everyone and welcome back to group stage competition for the Extreme Tournament! This week we head back to the States to find out who will advance to the Elimination Chamber in the finals, and we start with the absolute chaos that reigned supreme in Chicago!

Kid Dynamo vs Adrianna Wilde

[Before the match can begin, the Eternal Circle make their way to the ring, surrounding it as the four of them hop onto the apron. Legion directs traffic, sending Vagn after Dynamo and Crowne after Wilde as the ref calls for the bell!]

Result: No Contest

[The match's end is only the beginning for the Circle as they lay a beatdown on both competitors. Legion demands a microphone from ringside, shaking his head as the crowd lets him know what they think of the situation.]

Legion: I'm so, so very disappointed in you two. I had a feeling neither of you had the energy to keep going since you were technically eliminated from the tournament...so I decided to have you eliminated in a different way.

[Legion turns his attention to Wilde, letting out a heavy sigh before continuing.]

Legion: I'm especially disappointed in you, Adri. I personally invited you to this, and this is what I get in return?

[Legion shakes his head before turning to Dynamo.]

Legion: And as for you? From what I've heard you took someone else's spot to be in this tournament, and it looks like karma has caught up with that. Security, I'm gonna need these two escorted off the premises. You are both officially out of the Extreme Tournament.

[He looks up to the stage, motioning with his hand as TitanCorp guards arrive, pulling Dynamo and Wilde out of the ring to a chorus of boos from the crowd.]

Legion: Now, if you'll excuse us...we have a flight to catch.

[The boos continue to pour from the crowd in Chicago as the Eternal Circle exit the ring, making their way up the ramp as we cut to commercial.]

[We come back from commercial to find the Eternal Circle backstage, making their way to the exit when they cross paths with Billy Mitchell. Legion gives a nod to Dahl, who blindsides Mitchell with a lariat from behind! Dahl throws Mitchell into a wall, the Outlaw crashing to the floor with a thud as Dahl and Wolfe lay into him with some hard kicks. They pick up Mitchell, practically dragging him to ringside. Mitchell's match against Robina Hood is up next, but can Mitchell recover from this beatdown in time?]

Robina Hood vs Billy Mitchell

[Robina stands in the middle of the ring with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face, flanked by the rest of the Eternal Circle with weapons in hand as the referee begins his count. Mitchell begins to stir at 3, slowly shaking off the effects of the attack. The Eternal Circle members bark at him inside the ring, but Mitchell gets to his feet and just barely beats the count!]

[The referee forces the rest of the Eternal Circle out of the ring, but as his back is turned, Robina seizes on the opportunity, furiously striking the prone Mitchell with a number of strikes to push him back into a corner. Legion slides a steel chair under the bottom rope, while Vagn Dahl tosses a baseball bit in; Robina grabs the chair and strikes her fellow EWC representative with it. Mitchell's bleeding immediately after the shot; Robina hits an eye rake, then digs her nails into Mitchell's head, laughing as she licks his blood off her fingers.]

[The bell finally rings to start the match, and Robina tries to continue the onslaught, only to have Mitchell fight back! Through his crimson mask, Mitchell lands a number of stiff jabs to stagger Hood, then sends her reeling with a stiff punch. He picks up the baseball and continues the assault, repeatedly driving it into Hood's back! He continues to try building momentum as he goes for the Shit Kicker, but as he bounces off the ropes, Dahl pops up onto the apron and traps Mitchell in a painful hold! Hood smirks as she gets her wits back about her, connecting with a spinning heel kick!]

[Dahl releases the hold, and Mitchell is reeling in the ring. He staggers before getting turned around, and Hood seizes the opportunity... GRAND FINALE, WITH HOOD DRIVING THE STEEL CHAIR INTO MITCHELL'S BACK!!!]

[The crowd boos heavily as the Eternal Circle gets up on the apron while Robina makes the cover...]

Winner via pinfall (10:01): Robina Hood

[The ref raises Robina's arm in victory, Legion giving her a smile and a nod as we cut to commercial.]

[Back from commercial, we find Robina and the Circle making their way out of the VWF Colosseum when they are stopped by an interviewer trying to get a word as to what's going on. Instead of answers, the interviewer gets shoved against the wall by Crowne before the group proceeds out the door as we cut to Kyle Bacon in the studio.]

Kyle Bacon: A bit of chaos in Chicago as the Eternal Circle make their presence known, and through it all Robina Hood takes the group through rather nefarious means at the end! As we wonder what the Eternal Circle are up to, we head over to the Big Apple! Prior to the weekend's matches, we were informed that Mark Mania and Sewaside were caught up in a brawl on Broadway earlier in the week, with both detained due to property damage. It's a disappointment for fans of the Experts stalwarts, but we will focus instead on the big match between Rex Evans and Aidan Collins! Aidan is sitting pretty atop the rankings in New York, but can the Avatar of Brutality put a damper on those plans?

Rex Evans vs Aidan Collins

[With so much at stake, neither man wastes any time after the bell rings, trading haymakers in the centre of the ring. One particular strike from Collins gets Evans in the eyes, staggering 'The Avatar of Brutality' long enough for Collins to pull brass knuckles from his gear. Evans comes back to engage in the middle of the ring, not knowing Collins' right hand is loaded. A couple stiff shots from Collins wakes Evans up, though, dropping him to a knee. Collins goes up to pick Evans up, but Rex slides underneath and grabs Collins... AND HITS A STALLING SUPLEX THAT SENDS COLLINS OVER THE TOP ROPE AND CRASHING ONTO THE APRON!!!]

[Collins grabs his back in agony as he slides off the apron to the floor. Evans doesn't waste any time getting out of the ring, pouncing on 'King Infinity' and connecting with a number of elbow strikes. Collins does his best to shield himself from the blows, eventually fighting through the elbows and staggering Evans with another brass knuckle-aided punch! As Collins gets back to his feet, Evans gets him into a clinch and hits a series of Muay Thai knee strikes! He gets a couple in before Collins breaks out of the clinch and reverses the momentum... REBEL YELL INTO THE STEEL STEPS!]

[Evans' head bounces off the steps, busted open in the process. As Evans recovers, Collins dives under the ring to pull out anything he can get his hands on. A steel chair and a trash can come flying out before Collins pulls a table out and sets it up. As he gets it set up, Evans recovers and makes a beeline for Collins, launching into him with a Brute Punch! Evans goes to continue the onslaught, but Collins recovers and chucks the trash can at 'The Avatar of Brutality'. Evans catches it... BUT THEN CATCHES A BICYCLE KICK FOR HIS TROUBLES! As Evans stumbles backwards, Collins rears back and charges forward for an Ice Pick, but Evans dodges it and gets Collins on his shoulders... DISSOCIATION THROUGH THE TABLE!]

[Both men are slow to get up, but Evans is first to his feet. He drags Collins to his feet and rolls him back into the ring, then props him up against the turnbuckle. Rex runs diagonally, then charges for Unstoppable... COLLINS MOVES... REX GOES SHOULDER-FIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Rex slumps down into the bottom rope, and Collins seizes the opportunity, grabbing Evans by the arm and pulling him up... THEN TURNS HIM INSIDE OUT WITH HELL'S KALEIDOSCOPE!!! Collins drops to a knee after connecting, then uses his last ounce of energy to roll Evans over and make the count...]

Winner via pinfall (18:59): Aidan Collins

[The ref raises the arm of Collins in victory as we cut to commercial.]

[Back from commercial, we cut somewhere inside the VWF Colosseum, where Lester Only is getting ready for his big match against the True Expert champion Jack Benevolence when suddenly there's a knock on the door. Lester opens the door, a mix of shock and anger on his face.]

Lester Only: What are YOU doing here!?

[We get a better view of the person he's speaking to, and it's a familiar face from the past for both The Experts and Lester Only...Vannah White.]

Vannah White: It's over, Lester. We've been trying to get a hold of you for weeks, trying to convince you to come home and put the past behind you...but since you won't come to us, I decided to come to you. I talked to Timothy Kahrs about the situation, and while I can't have you pulled from the tournament itself, I can take my spot on the card for the finale.

[Vannah hands Lester a sheet of paper, which Leser reads with a look of concern on his face.]

Lester Only: I see, and you've decided to make your big return against Sally Talfourd of all people!? I don't think you took any of my advice on board from our talk in Siberia, Vannah.

[Vannah just scoffs at this.]

Vannah White: I get it, Lester. You've been trying to rebuild your legacy with this tournament, trying to remind people who you are...that's what I'm doing here. See you around, Lester.

[Vannah leaves the room, leaving the former True Expert to think about her words as we cut to Kyle Bacon in the studio.]

Kyle Bacon: It's been made official, Experts fans! Signed for the finale supercard is Vannah White taking on Sally Talfourd, in what is sure to be an amazing match! With that bit of news we head to the action in Vegas, starting with a battle of Extreme Tournament winners of days past as current True Expert Jack Benevolence takes on a Hall of Famer in Lester Only!

Jack Benevolence vs Lester Only

[Jack and Lester stare each other down as they await the bell, and with a ding ding ding followed by a thunderous pop from the crowd the two men lunge into each other. The arrogant cocky Jack showing no-fear in the presence of the giant before him. Lester is, as one would expect, able to use his height advantage to manhandle Jack around the ring, before scooping jack up into a powerbomb and yanking him up into a spinebuster for a two count.]

[Lester drags Jack up to his feet, but is met with a low-blow that brings him to one knee. Jack grabs at Lester's face, specifically his eye while the ref watches helplessly. Jack goes to the well one too many times and is scooped up by Lester in a belly-to-belly suplex that lands stiff as the boards under the rings scream under the weight of it. Lester pulls Jack up by his hair, to which Jack responds by spitting in Lester's face, kneeing him in the groin and then headbutting the man in his throat!]

[Jack grabs the bigger man's leg and twists it sideways before dropping it into a leg DDT that he shifts into a modified heel hook/knee bar. Lester is teasing a tapout but powers out, only to be rolled up for a two count. Lester goes back to work on the right leg, with an ankle-lock applied while he stomps down on Lester's left calf and thigh. Lester again looks as though he may tap, but again powers out of it. Lester climbs to his feet and limps towards Jack, who meets him with a dropkick to the knee... but Lester doesn't fall, Lester bites through the pain and snatches Jack up onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry. Jack struggles but Lester will not be denied as he swings Jack around while planting his head into the mat with his trademark cyclone DDT, Darkness Shine. Lester gets to his feet, ignoring the limpness in his legs.]

[Lester reaches down for Jack, who grabs Lester's fingers and yanks them apart really fast. Lester winces, giving Jack enough time to roll out of the ring and collapse onto the ground. Lester checks his fingers, he could move them so they weren't broken, just jammed... but the rage is growing again.]

[Lester limps towards the apron before climbing out on-top of it. As Lester goes to step off the apron when Russell White gets involved for the first time of the match by distracting Lester and giving Jack enough time to grab Lester's ankle and yank him off the apron. Lester lands hard on the padded concrete while Russell handed Jack a pair of brass knuckles. Jack lands two or three straight jabs before unleashing hell in the form of a wild volley of chaotic punches with both hands, his knuckled right and bare left. Lester is bloodied, Jack is covered in Lester's blood... Jack begins to laugh but his laugh fades when he sees Lester smiling back. The giant begins to stir, getting to one knee before Jack lands his Critical Kick square to Lester's jaw. Jack and Russell work together to roll Lester into the ring where Jack uses perhaps the rest of his energy to drag Lester into a side-headlock, lifted into a suplex and shifted into a side-slam! JACK'S HAMMER! Benevolence makes the cover to a chorus of boos!]

Winner via pinfall (22:10): Jack Benevolence

[Russell slides into the ring to help his client from toppingly over, the adrenaline wearing off. Jack smirks at a booing crowd as we cut to commercial.]

[We come back to commercial to find Doug E Fresh heading to ringside for his match against Ace King when suddenly a voice from behind stops him. He turns to face a couple young men, representatives from The Experts. The taller of the two speaks up first.]

Experts Rep 1: We wanted to discuss the terms of your full cooperation for the remainder of this tournament. Our offer is as such...in the event that you cannot advance to the finals of the tournament, we can offer you a marquee match at the supercard that might be of interest of you.

[Doug just scoffs at the offer, shaking his head.]

Doug E Fresh: You don't seem to get it, do you? After everything you guys have put me through, what makes you think I even want another match under your jurisdiction? Who could you possibly put me up against to make me even consider such an offer?

Experts Rep 2: What about...him?

[The shorter representative points behind Doug, who turns to find himself face to face with one of his biggest rivals over the years...Kurt Noble.]

Kurt Noble: What about me, old friend?

[A smirk grows on the face of Noble.]

Kurt Noble: I understand you're going through a bit of a crisis at the moment, and when these fine gentlemen offered me one more run I couldn't help myself. Everyone's going on about their legacy around here nowadays, and I thought I'd try my hand as well. What do you say?

[Doug turns to the Experts reps, and for just a moment we get the hint that Doug is considering this offer as we cut back to Kyle Bacon in the studio.]

Kyle Bacon: Kurt Noble has returned to the fold, and if what we just saw is any indication, we might see two rivals square off once more! In the meantime, our main event sees the Professor taking on the Gambler, with leadership of the Vegas group on the line!

Ace King vs Doug E Fresh

[The stakes have never been higher in this main event, especially for Ace King; if he defeats a former True Expert one more time he can tie up the score with the current champion to advance! It's a bet that The Gambler is more than willing to take as he immediately goes after the Professor with a flurry of offense, laying into Fresh with a series of hard kicks followed by a vertical suplex. King doesn't let up, running against the ropes and hitting a double stomp on the back of Fresh followed by a standing moonsault! King goes for the cover but doesn't even get a one count before Fresh gets back to his feet, and they find themselves at a standstill.]

[King whips Fresh agains the ropes, but Fresh uses the momentum to hit a surprise cross body on the Gambler! The odds look to be in Doug's favor now as he goes at King with some impressive technical prowess, locking in an abdominal stretch that leaves King cringing but refusing to give up. King eventually manages to power out of the hold, but Fresh slams him down with a reverse DDT! Fresh gets to his feet again, looking to the turnbuckle with a smirk on his face as he climbs up, looking to hit Flying Colors—BUT KING ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME!]

[Doug is down as King is back on his feet, when suddenly Sebastian Conner runs in from ringside, laying the Gambler out cold! TitanCorp guards have run out to resolve the situation, forcing the EWC outsider away from the ring as Conner shouts profanities at King. The situation allows Doug time to recover as he looks to hit A+ on King—WHO CATCHES DOUG MID-KICK, LIFTING UP HIGH BEFORE DROPPING FRESH WITH A BLACK JACKBOMB! Doug is out like a light with that Psycho Driver as King goes for the cover!]

3!!!

Winner via pinfall (25:21): Ace King

[As the dust settles on the main event Doug E Fresh exits the ring, making his way backstage, and leaving Ace King alone in the ring. The Gambler is leant back in the corner, staring around the crowd, when "Ignite" hits the speakers. The crowd get to their feet as Robina Hood steps out from the back...]

Kyle Bacon: Well we heard her planning with Legion earlier... and we know she and Ace King have a history outside of the tournament... maybe... oh no...

[Robina stares down the ramp at Ace King, when the curtain parts again, and this time Thomas Crowne, Vagn Dahl, and Legion join her. The members of The Eternal Circle are carrying baseball bats, threateningly tapping them in their hands or pointing them down at Ace, who stands his ground and readies himself for an attack. The music fades out as Legion, Crowne, and Dahl storm down the ramp and Hood follows up with a grin on her face. They hit the ring to rapturous boos and immediately swarm King, smashing him with the baseball bats. He attempts to fight them, sending one or two stumbling back, but eventually the numbers game gets the better of him. Hood climbs into the ring and begins barking orders, and the three men haul Ace King to his feet, looking to set him up for a big move from Hood... when 'The Greatest Show' from The Greatest Showman blasts out...]

Kyle Bacon: ... we've never heard this music before... who--?

[The curtains part, and immediately a big cheer goes up as...]

Kyle Bacon: Oh my! HERE. WE. GO!

[... Michael Thunder steps out! The Living Legend stares straight down the ramp, before more cheers go up, and those in the ring turn towards the commentary table as MDK climbs the barrier onto the table with a fist in the air. There's more commotion in the crowd north and south of the ring, and the camera pans around the fans, showing Georgie Nickles within them on the south side, and Scorpio within them on the north side. As one the four members of The One Ring Circus storm towards the ring, as the Eternal Circle seem to ignore Ace King and get ready for the attack. As one Thunder, MDK, Nickles, and Scorpio hit the ring and go fist-to-fist with Legion, Hood, Crowne, and Dahl. The crowd go wild as The ORC seem to have the surprise advantage, soon helped by Ace King getting back into it with a huge right elbow knocking Legion for six. Scorpio lands a superkick on Crowne, sending him over the top rope, and Nickles throws a spinning wheel kick to send Legion. Spotting the turn of the tide Robina Hood bails from the ring, high-tailing it back up the ramp whilst MDK throws Vagn Dahl over the top rope, sending him crashing onto Crowne.]

Kyle Bacon: The ORC have cleaned house, and evened this one up in the attempt to take out Ace King!

[The crowd cheer loudly as Thunder offers a hand to Ace King, and the two shake hands. King then raises Thunder's hand, whilst the other three members of the One Ring Circus shout down at the Eternal Circle, who retreat to the back. The final shot in Vegas is of Thunder, MDK, Nickles, Scorpio, and Ace King celebrating their victory to cheering fans as we cut back to Kyle Bacon in the studio...]

Kyle Bacon: After weeks of attacks the Circus is back in town... question is next week which of them will be heading into the Elimination Chamber? With Ace's win over Doug E Fresh he's now tied at the top of the Vegas group with the True Expert, Jack Benevolence...and with just one more week of the group stage, one can only hope we get some answers as the rest of the field falls into place! Until next time, this is Kyle Bacon signing off.

[Fade to black.]

Kudos:

- Geordie, D, and Russ for matches and segments (and L1 and Doug for segment ideas!)
- Kurt Noble for coming back, lol
- Y'all for sticking around this long, and putting up with me as I deal with a ton of stress the past month or so
