[Play.]

[Cut to footage of the twenty-four competitors in this year's Extreme Tournament, as a young woman speaks in voiceover.]

Six weeks, six groups, and only six will advance for the right to be crowned the winner...

[The show opens to backstage in Toronto, and the fans watching on the big screens on the various arenas throughout the world boo loudly at the sight of the man behind the Experts' hostile takeover, Legion. The boss is sat in his office on the phone. He nods along and ends his conversation, putting the phone down the desk before there's a knock at the door, and Thomas Crowne steps in. Legion raises an inquisitive eyebrow.]

Thomas Crowne: Sir, Jack Benevolence is here to see you...

Legion: Excellent, send him in.

[Legion turns back to his laptop and begins typing something out as Crowne looks on uneasily and coughs loudly to get Legion's attention.]

Thomas Crowne: He... he wants you to meet him out here...

Legion: ... what?!

Thomas Crowne: He says he's had to travel all the way to... and I quote... 'this bullshit fake USA with their ugly residents and awful food' and he refuses to take a single step further.

[Legion stares briefly before sighing loudly and stepping up from his desk and storming out of the office. In the waiting room outside sits the True Expert Champion Jack Benevolence, his associate Russell White, and a number of TitanCorp security guards. Legion takes a deep breath, clearly done with Benevolence's stunts, before he sits down on the chair opposite.]

Legion: Jack.. Russell... thank you for coming. I wanted to speak to you today ab—

Russell White: About this absolute farce. Jack tying with an Experts unknown?! I don't know what sham tournament you're trying to run Legion, but this is an insult on our legacy and you've gone too far this time. We came to this tournament ready to do deals, we came here ready to put our financial and political might behind your takeover and ousting of Thunder... and you've delivered us right into uncertainty and chaos. That being said, we are reasonable and fair, and we have found a solution.

Legion: Jack if we might talk wrestler to wre—

[Benevolence holds a hand up, turning his face away from Legion, and gesturing towards White.]

Russell White: Mr Benevolence has a lot to comprehend and process right now; speaking to you is only going to piss him off further. Now, our solution...

[Legion stares at Benevolence and shakes his head, turning to White.]

Legion: Go ahead.

Russell White: Everyone knows the Elimination Chamber can only hold six wrestlers... at the moment four have qualified, and three more will qualify tonight. Only one of those who have qualified has defeated two former True Experts, only one of them is on his second reign as True Expert, only one of them has qualified for his third Extreme Tournament final. We feel it would be unfair on the others to pit them against Jack, this is their first time on the grand stage, and being the kind-hearted and forward-thinking gentleman we are we think giving them the chance to showcase their talents would be the most appropriate finale.

[Legion narrows his eyes, clearly uncertain.]

Russell White: We propose that Jack's unmatched superiority is recognised, and he is hereby declared co-winner of The Extreme Tournament 2018-2019. The rest of them can battle it out in a number-one contender's Elimination Chamber, and the other co-winner will take Jack on for the True Expert Championship in a title match immediately following the chamber. I'm sure the fans will lap it up.

[A loud boo goes up amongst the fans watching on the big screens, fed up with the Benevolence group's power-plays and shady business deals. In the waiting room Benevolence himself finally turns to look at Legion, a smirk on his face as the Experts' boss shakes his head.]

Legion: Fine, fine, FINE. Six-man Elimination Chamber, the winner immediately challenges for the True Expert Championship. Congratulations on winning the Extreme Tournament Mr Benevolence, a record second time, you should be proud.

[Legion offers a hand to Benevolence, who stares at it, looks up at Legion, and gets to his feet. He swings the True Expert Championship over his shoulder so it is facing Legion as he walks off. Russell White shakes the out-stretched hand and pats Legion on the arm before the Benevolence contingent leaves. The camera pans around to Legion who runs a hand through his hair and sighs...]

Kyle Bacon: Well what an opening folks, we were left wondering quite what the future would hold with the Vegas group tying, and there we have it. Jack Benevolence has been granted a bye right past the Elimination Chamber, and will defend the title against whoever comes out of that gruelling six-wrestler battle the winner! You can't exactly call it fair, but I guess you've gotta call it smart as far as the champ's concerned. Right, first off we're staying right here in Toronto as we open with a newcomer to the tournament... Sally Talfourd takes on Daryl Pritchard!

Daryl Prichard vs. Sally Talfourd

[The popular Sally Talfourd makes an excellent return to The Experts scene with an emphatic performance against Daryl Prichard. Right from the start she dominates the match with her speed, high-flying acumen, and occasional high-impact move. Prichard attempts a clothesline at one point which Talfourd reverses into a facebreaker DDT, scoring a close two. As Prichard attempts to get to his feet Talford spots her chance and runs to the ropes, leaping up and springboarding off – right into a moonsault, her High Hopes! Talfourd hooks the leg... one... two... three!]

Winner via pinfall (3:17): Sally Talfourd

[Sally raises both hands above her head, celebrating her victory as the fans cheer loudly. All of a sudden the tron changes, catching everyone's attention as Vannah White's face fills the screen. She smiles widely and stares down at Talfourd, making her presence known, before fading off. Talfourd stops her celebration short and is left fixed on the tron...]

Kyle Bacon: A big win for Talfourd, asserting her dominance and showing she's a force to be reckoned with, but her upcoming battle with Vannah White has to be on the back of her mind. We'll see those two go at it in the finale of the Extreme Tournament! Who else will be there? Well we're going to find out!

[A video begins with the word 'Legacy', before we see Smitty winning the first ever True Expert Championship. The video shows some of the greatest reigns in Experts history, with the gargantuan Black Death holding the gold, the famous Level-One dropping opponents with the Level-Advance for the championship. We see Sandy Makel coming out of the Extreme Tournament a winner, as well as Georgie Nickles' victory to hold the True Expert Championship. We see Jack Benevolence's victory over Kurt Noble to score the gold, as well as his year-long reign, before we see Doug E. Fresh step out of the last Tournament as the winner. Finally we see Benevolence's latest victory to claim the title for a second time...]

Kyle Bacon: A look back at the victors of the past, as we near the Extreme Tournament final, who will be the next to hold the gold? Whoever comes out of that Elimination Chamber will have the chance to take on Jack Benevolence for the title... will it be Robina Hood, Aidan Collins, Ace King... or one of the three who will qualify tonight?

Nariko Inazuma vs. Artemis Kaiser

[An exciting battle between two women who have a storied history. It kicks off with some early dominance by Artemis Kaiser, who brutalises her opponent with some heavy strikes, sending her into the turnbuckle where she smashes Nariko with a brutal elbow smash knocking her to the mat. She drags Inazuma to her feet and hauls her up, looking for a scoop slam, however Inazuma drops out behind Kaiser and lands a dropkick, sending her shoulder-first into the corner. As Kaiser stumbles backwards Inazuma lands a big roundhouse kick, following it up with a big DDT driving Artemis into the mat for a two-count. Kaiser battles her way back into it, catching an attempted flying crossbody which she converts into a backbreaker. She drags Inazuma out onto the apron and throws a few punches to stun her, before she hauls Nariko up and brings her crashing down with the Holy God, a death valley driver on the apron! As the referee reaches a four on his count Kaiser rolls Inazuma back into the ring and covers, scoring a close two. The fans are on their feet as Kaiser stares at the apron, then the top rope, and spots her chance. She drags Inazuma up and hauls her to the top, looking to set up for a brutal Holy God from the top rope onto the apron – but Inazuma comes to in time, fighting Kaiser off, and landing a big headbutt to send her old rival down to the mat. Seeing this as her last outing at the Extreme Tournament Nariko gets to her feet and points to the heavens – BEFORE LEAPING OFF AND TWISTING INTO HER CORKSCREW 630 SENTON, THE RAW BLINK ON HARA-KIRI ROCK! SHE COVERS... ONE... TWO... THREE!]

Winner, via pinfall (13:58): Nariko Inazuma

Kyle Bacon: What a close match, what a huge move, and what a victory for Nariko! These two should be proud of their Extreme Tournament showing, they've made their names on the Experts stage, and I'm sure we'll see more of them in shows to come.

[Our scene cuts to a video where none other than Legion's co-conspirator in the hostile takeover, his brother Timothy Kahrs is sat behind a desk at Legacy Plaza. He smiles widely as the camera focuses on his face and he reaches for some papers.]

Timothy Kahrs: Good evening all, as we approach the conclusion of The Extreme Tournament 2018-2019 we are faced with an opportunity to... come together... form alliances... work together to form the legacy we've all come here to form. The winners of the various groups are coming in thick and fast, and we are slowly finding out who will be competing in the Elimination Chamber for the chance to challenge for the True Expert Championship, and who will not.

[He pauses briefly, reaching under his desk for something...]

Timothy Kahrs: But for those who had their heart set on leaving here with gold around their waist, hope is not lost. Wrestlers... look to your left... look to your right... do you see anyone whose work you like? Anyone you think you could trust to have your back?

[Kahrs' smile widens as he lifts up what is under his desk, placing down a pair of championship belts on top. He turns them around to face the camera and runs a hand over them, showing them to be the old True Expert Tag Team Championships! A cheer goes up from the fans watching this unfold on the screens.]

Timothy Kahrs: ... well... if you think these titles could be sat around your waists, feel free to let us know. But we've already got a team ready to battle for them... and be careful where you watch their matches, 'cause these guys are NSFW...

[The camera pans around to show the EWC Tag Team Champions and Team of the Year 2018, Bishop Church and Mike McGuire, NSFW! The pair nod to the camera and their eyes fix on the True Expert Championships as the camera fades...]

Kyle Bacon: What an announcement! The True Expert Tag Team Championships are back in action, and one of the best teams in the world right now – NSFW – look like they're primed and ready to challenge for them! Who's gonna take them on?!

[With this revelation we cut to commercial.]

Smitty vs. MDK

[The fans are clapping along, ready for this one as two Experts legends go at it, a former True Expert taking on one of the most consistent forces in Experts history! The bell rings and the two circle one another Smitty throws a punch – which MDK catches, right into the Hellshot, his brutal reverse STO! He then hooks it into the koji clutch, completing his Mancuerda. The fans are on their feet as MDK roars out and after a few minutes Smitty relents – and taps out!]

Winner via submission (1:23): MDK

Kyle Bacon: A huge victory for MDK, absolutely crushing the original True Expert!

[We head backstage in Toronto as Jack Benevolence is walking through the corridors, headed to the parking lot and his awaited car. He is flanked by the TitanCorp security guards as he walks. One of them turns to him as the champion himself absent-mindedly strokes the title belt over his shoulder.]

TitanCorp Guard: Sir, I hope you don't mind me speaking out of turn, but our association with The Eternal Circle is posing a greater threat...

Jack Benevolence: For one I do mind you speaking out of turn, my mind is one of the most well-oiled machines in this sport and it cannot be distracted by inane conversations with faceless guards. That being said you've distracted me now... so I guess you might as well continue...

TitanCorp Guard: My apologies, sir. Just, there's a lot of wrestlers out there who aren't interested in the True Expert Championship as much as they're dead-set on ending the Circle. There's effectively two targets on your back now Mr Benevolence...

[Benevolence sighs as they reach the parking lot, and the guard speeds ahead to open the back door of a waiting black sedan. As Benevolence approaches it he smiles, fixing his stare right at the guard.]

Jack Benevolence: We have what we need from Legion and his band of moronic followers. One more week and we can leave them for dust as I leave this place, True Expert Championship successfully retained, tournament absolutely dominated. Until then I need you to work with the rest of the boys, make a plan for the Elimination Chamber. There's some big names in there already, and some big ones yet to be confirmed. I don't want there to be any mistakes... whoever crawls out of that chamber the 'winner'...

[He snarls as he folds himself into the back seat of the car and peers out the window at his guard.]

Jack Benevolence: End them.

[The window whirrs as it closes and the car's engine roars into life, carrying the True Expert Champion away. The TitanCorp Guard smiles and nods his head, leaning into a radio on his shoulder to convey the message as the crowd watching on the screens boos loudly.]

Kyle Bacon: Well the intrigue and planning continues, though it seems it may not be harmony between the Benevolence team and The Eternal Circle. Not to mention the fate of whoever walks out of the Elimination Chamber... it seems they'll be walking right into Benevolence's trap! Speaking of the Elimination Chamber, next up we're over to Toronto where that group will be decided... it's James Raven taking on Lisa Seldon...

James Raven vs. Lisa Seldon

[An exciting decider in Toronto as the two dominating forces in this match go one-on-one. Both employ a high-flying, fast-paced style, however with the rare size advantage Raven also brings out some unexpected power moves, almost scoring an early win when he catches Seldon's attempted flying move into a brutal powerbomb. Seldon makes a resurgence with a big springboard dropkick, before she employs a series of brutal kicks putting Raven down for a close two-count. Raven battles back, catching Seldon's leg and spinning her into a snap DDT for his own close two. The fans are on the edge of their seats eager to see who's headed to the Elimination Chamber as Raven attempts the FYS, a superkick, but Seldon ducks it and leaps up, landing the Killa-Cana-Rama, a brutal spiked hurricanrana! The crowd are on their feet as Raven rolls onto all fours, and Seldon sets up for the Man Opener, her stunning roundhouse kick. She runs and swings a boot – BUT RAVEN DUCKS IT AND LEAPS UP, CATCHING HER WITH THE FLIGHT OF THE RAVEN, AN RKO! HE COVERS... ONE... TWO... THREE!]

Winner via pinfall (10:47): James Raven

Kyle Bacon: He's done it! James Raven with the big win here, and he joins his XWF colleague Aidan Collins in the Extreme Tournament final! Will James Raven be the winner to take on Jack Benevolence for the True Expert Championship? Who will be the final two to join him?

[The ref raises Raven's arm in victory as we go to commercial.]

[Back from commercial, we cut to a pre-recorded message as none other than Ace King sat at a casino inside the Luxor Hotel, Las Vegas. He smiles to the camera and cheer goes up from the fans watching on the screens as King flicks some cards onto the table and groan is let out from the other players as he reaches over and brings in his winnings. He then turns to the camera...]

Ace King: Look at that, a fair win, and it doesn't seem like Robina Hood is coming to try and put me down after this one, how unusual.

[He sighs.]

Ace King: It was a good try last week Robina, I almost don't blame you, joining forces with the Eternal Circle in an attempt to put down one of the biggest threats to your shot in the Chamber... not to mention an old... friend? I've got to extend a hand of thanks to the One Ring Circus for doing what they did – I'm sure having my back isn't the first task when it comes to saving the Experts, but I appreciate it, and if you need a fifth hand at any point... well... you know where to find me.

[He gestures to the casino he's in before taking a new set of cards from the dealer. King glances at them and raises an eyebrow, pushing a stack of chips into the pot before he turns back to the camera.]

Ace King: In the meantime Robina get ready, because you've played your hand and it didn't work... I've still got mine to play... and you can fucking bet everything I've got will be aimed right at you for that stunt. We're both headed into that Elimination Chamber, and I can promise you the second you lose focus I'll be dropping you with the BlackJack Driver right into that metal floor.

[King briefly looks away to tap the table twice, checking for this round.]

Ace King: So I'll see you in the final... and you better be ready to regret ever crossing my path... bet on it.

[He turns back to the game as the camera fades out...]

Georgie Nickles vs. Scorpio

[A great back and forth match between two wrestlers who know one another way too well. The match begins with some fast-paced back-and-forth strikes as Nickles and Scorpio throw kicks, elbows, fists, and knees at one another. Scorpio takes an early dominance as he floors Nickles with a roundhouse, following it up with a springboard facebuster, which earns him a two. Nickles fights back into it and drops Scorpio with a tornado DDT of her own, getting another close two-count which the S-Factor powers out of. The Rebel Child attempts a fast pinning attempt as she rolls Scorpio up, however he is able to force his way out, and as Nickles throws a hard right fist Scorpio catches it, hauling Nickles up into a fireman's carry slam with a rare power move, earning him a two. Later in the match the two find one another on top rope, where Scorpio overpowers Nickles, kicking her to the mat and following it up with a huge shooting star press, almost scoring the win however Nickles gets a shoulder up. Rebel Child fights back, landing a big spear to take Scorpio down, before she runs off the ropes – AND OUT OF NOWHERE NAILS SHINING ANARCHY! The crowd are on their feet as she covers... ONE... TWO... NO! Scorpio with the shoulder up and Nickles stares wide-eyed. She hauls Scorpio up and drags him to the corner, looking for the Carpe Diem, her sunset flip from the top, however Scorpio seeks the opportunity and as Nickles is on the second rope he leaps – NAILING THE AGR! HE HOOKS THE LEG... ONE... TWO... THR—NO! NICKLES WITH THE SHOULDER UP THIS TIME! The crowd are on their feet as a desperate-looking Scorpio stamps his feet and sets up for the Glitterazi, his lariat. As Nickles stumbles to her feet Scorpio runs, throwing the arm – BUT NICKLES LEAPS, CATCHING HIM WITH HER OWN AGR OUT OF NOWHERE! SHE COVERS... ONE... TWO... THREE!]

Winner via pinfall (20:09): Georgie Nickles

Kyle Bacon: What a match, what a close call, but it's Georgie who goes through to the Elimination Chamber! Her second Extreme Tournament final!

[The crowd are cheering as Scorpio rolls to his knees, looking dejected and broken, having put everything he has into making it through his first Extreme Tournament. The Rebel Child reaches a hand down, and Scorpio takes it, offering his better a smile before the two hug it out. The S-Factor wipes away a tear before giving a bow to the fans cheering him on. He calls for a microphone and the fans quieten down as Scorpio brings it to his mouth...]

Scorpio: I... I don't... I don't know what to say. This was my one chance, my only chance... and I was bested by one of the best ever. Georgie, as always you have my full support and love...

[The two share another hug, before he turns back to face the camera.]

Scorpio: I may not be in the Elimination Chamber, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to the final show. See I came here with two goals... to go to the very end of this tournament... and to be part of the fight back against the Eternal Circle. So Legion... Dahl... Crowne... listen up, bitches...

[His eyes narrow as he raises the microphone.]

Scorpio: Consider yourselves challenged. At the final of the Extreme Tournament let's have at it once and for all. Whichever two of you fancy taking on the combined might of The S-Factor and MDK, bring it the fuck on. Because we are damned ready to show you just what the Experts means. These are the halls of respect, these are the battlegrounds of legends, these are the hallowed grounds where legacies are formed... everything you've done... your takeover... your jump attacks... your shady backstage dealings make a fucking mockery of every drop of blood, sweat, and tears shed between these ropes...

[Scorpio's face is filled with rage as he stares into the lens of the camera.]

Scorpio: SO HERE WE GO. THE ONE RING CIRCUS AGAINST THE ETERNAL CIRCLE. ONE BIG SHOW-DOWN, ONE FINAL BATTLE, ONE CHANCE TO CUT THIS CANCER OUT OF THE EXPERTS! Bring it on... watching you broken, beaten, realising you fucked with the wrong bitches... will be nothing short of FABULOUS.

[He throws the microphone to the floor before raising the Rebel Child's arm, and the crowd go wild. The pair continue celebrating as the scene fades, and we cut to commercial.]

Kyle Bacon: A big statement there as Scorpio throws down the gauntlet – he and MDK will take on the Eternal Circle in a bid to end their reign of terror through the Experts! Will the Circle pick up the challenge? We'll find out at the final!

Michael Thunder vs. La Hormiga Verde

[A big final match here as Thunder and Verde go toe-to-toe, the two putting on a technical masterclass. It begins with dominance from The Living Legend as he twists Verde into an arm lock and goes for an early attempt at Thunderstruck, and as Verde escapes Thunder catches him back into a headlock, twisting him around into a front facelock with scissors. Verde manages to bridge his way out of it, getting to his feet while Thunder is sat, and Verde spins it around to crack him across the face with a kick. He hauls Thunder up and goes to town with some chops and kicks to the legs, getting an advantage over the Boss for a few minutes. Finally he hooks Thunder's leg and brings him down with a single leg takedown, following it up with an attempted ankle lock; Thunder kicks his way free of this sending Verde into the corner, which Thunder follows up with a shoulder block. Thunder's dominance begins as he lands a big german suplex to crash Verde down, following it up with some precise knee-strikes breaking down Verde's arm. He hauls Verde up and lands a big half nelson suplex for a close-two, however as he drags Verde up for a second suplex attempt, only for the Ant to drive a knee into Thunder's head! Spotting his chance Verde lines up for the United States of Smash, however as he swings the fist Thunder catches his arm – into Thunderstruck, the famous cross armbreaker! The crowd are on their feet as Verde attempts to battle his way out of it, but he cannot hold out, and eventually submits.]

Winner via submission (10:32): Michael Thunder

[As the fans are cheering Michael Thunder and La Hormiga Verde both climb to their feet. The Green Ant offers a hand to The Living Legend, and Thunder gratefully shakes it, patting Verde on the back and raising his arm in a moment of respect. LHV nods and climbs from the ring as Thunder beckons to the ring announcer, calling for a microphone. The fans quieten down as one is handed to him...]

Michael Thunder: Listen up folks, 'cause Michael Thunder's got somethin' to say. See we all saw at the start of this show the business deals 'tween Benevolence and Legion, this fucked-up set-up to gift Benevolence an easy defence over whoever makes it through the pain and hell of the Elimination Chamber. Gotta hand it to ya Jack, you're a fuckin' snake, but you can take any situation and turn it to your advantage. If it didn't make me so sick I'd stand here and applaud ya.

[The crowd boo the idea of Jack Benevolence's deals as Thunder paces the ring, and a smile begins to develop.]

Michael Thunder: Now since this hostile takeover I've been ousted and ostracised from the Experts bit by bit. Locked out of Legacy Plaza, locked away in Siberia for Christ's sake, my pay frozen, scum like Legion and Azula dominatin' the group I worked my ass off to build up, watchin' the hard work of half the wrestlin' world bein' thrown down the shitter. But ya see... there's one thing they never did... one thing they couldn't do...

[He stops pacing and looks right into the camera, his smile growing bigger.]

Michael Thunder: They couldn't legally fire me, they couldn't legally remove all my authority. I still hold a place on the Experts' board, I've just been blocked from accessin' it. But... when it comes to bookin' shows and matches... well I don't have to do that from the Experts board room, do I? In fact, with a laywer to draw up the contract, I can do it from... well... Tokyo!

[A huge cheer goes up as Thunder gestures to the stage, and the curtain parts as a man in a suit walks out carrying a briefcase. He strides down the ramp as Thunder folds his arms, looking on with glee. As the man in the suit approaches Thunder separates the ropes, allowing him into the ring.

Michael Thunder: Everyone please welcome my very own lawyer.

[The lawyer places the briefcase onto his outstretched hands and Thunder opens it up, reaching inside, and pulling out what appears to be a contract. He raises it above his head.]

Michael Thunder: See, legally-speakin', I'm still the General Manager of The Experts. Legally-speakin' I can still amend Experts shows. LEGALLY-FUCKIN'-SPEAKIN' JACK BENEVOLENCE... I CAN CHANGE THE NUMBERS AROUND ON THAT ELIMINATION CHAMBER ALL I LIKE!

[The Tokyo fans go wild as Thunder places the contract back in the briefcase, picks out a pen from the case, and signs the contract. He picks it out again and holds it next to his face, staring into the camera.

Michael Thunder: The Extreme Tournament 2018-2019, Elimination Chamber, Ace King vs. Aidan Collins vs. Robina Hood vs. Georgie Nickles vs. James Raven vs. Michael Thunder... versus Jack Benevolence... FOR THE TRUE EXPERT CHAMPIONSHIP! I'll see ya there Jacky-Boy!

[Thunder's smile is wider than ever as the fans go even crazier and the camera pans around showing the crowd while Thunder drops the mic.]

Kyle Bacon: What an announcement! What a way to close the show! Folks our final just became a seven-man Elimination Chamber for the True Expert Championship! Seven of the best in the wrestling world fighting it out to be crowned the winner of the Extreme Tournament, and take home the biggest prize in the sport. We'll see you next time... it's going to be a hell of a show!

[Fade to black.]

Kudos:

- Russ for, quite frankly, getting 99% of this show together this week
- Each and every one of you for RPing and having some great ideas over the course of the tournament
