I'd like to add british public transport to this list, in particular train services in England.

Dusty, smelly, dirty seats and carages.  Stinking toilets.  Ridiculously high prices and the three words no train passenger wants to hear:  replacement bus service.  Especially when NO ONE tells you about the service, which has been running for nine weeks, until you turn up at a station and are told by some guy that all your travel plans and connections are not going to happen!

Save some praise though for the staff I encountered.  Very friendly, patient and as helpful as they could be in bad situations.  Especially the ticket guy on the Bournemouth to Banbury train who sorted us out and made sure we could catch our connection train at Birmingham to get to Glasgow.

But as for the bosses and the people who actually run the train companies - they're the worst.  Pocket millions in profits and put nothing back into the trains or the infrastructure.  Shocking.

Next trip, we fly.

I've been having tooth pain off and on for awhile now.  After having it again today and having it get to the point of it being unbearalbe any longer I decided that it's time to see a dentist so I've got an appointment to see one tomorrow morning.  The last time I saw one I was 10 years old.  Yay?
