NHL awards

Anyone else watch it last night? The best part was in datsyuk pulled out two speeches for each award, I only wish he won the hart I wanted to see number 3.

Hockey used to be good in the 90's, but now its pathetic. Every fight is almost a fine, as well as every huge hit there is a fine.

Now I view hockey as not violent enough to be football or MMA and doesn't reqiure a lot of skill like soccer.

The day Guys like Bure, Forsbery, Roy, and LeClair retired was the end of hockey.

Worse thing is....Sidney Crosby's parents like up the street from me. Ugh.

I agree with you, they are trying to take fighting out which is lame. But its still very exciting.. really fast paced now. lots of speed. and as long as you don't go for the head hits usually are okay.. its the head shots everyone hates.
