I know a lot of you guys do training and stuff, or at least regularly use a gym so I thought I'd come to you.

I'm looking to, over the next 3 or 4 months:
- Lose approximately 2 stone (I currently weight 12 stone 6 lbs approx. Healthy BMI (and I know BMI is innacurate) would be just over 10 stone)
- Increase muscle speed (plyometrics) and strength
- Decrease visible fat.

My local gym is very well furnished with punchbags, weight machines, cardio machines... Well, everything that you'd generally need from a gym. I'm just wondering what's a good daily (or few-times-a-week-ly) cardio and weight routine, and what's the best way to basically start on some plyometrics (I currently have no muscluar speed and medium strength)

So can anybody give me some "for dummies" advice?

your gym will be able to give you a decent regime to start and normally do free consultations. It's what I use.
