He wasn't claimed off of waivers which means he can sign as a free agent with any team.  This will be an interesting story to follow over the next few days.

I think he's done. Those last few games in Minnesota looked horrendous. His accuracy is shot, his mechanics suck. I think it's time he hung up the cleats and went into the booth. He's got a heck of a career as an NFL analyst ahead of him.

Word is that he showed up to camp grossly out of shape and never really worked to get in any game shape. If that's the case, he's done. That would make team number two to dump him over conditioning worries in the past two years--nobody's going to pick him up after that.
