Let's start off this thread fans of the Witcher 2. For those people who may not remember correctly. You play a Witcher, a non human that fights monsters, and what not. What is so interesting about Witcher 2

1. The graphics are simply mind blowing. Everything flows very well. If you are in a dark room with a small bit of lit, you will see your shadow and tiny spark of light. They are hard to describe to put into words. It seems like they paid a great deal of attention to the details of the graphics. (For those of us who play on PC with directx11) we have the chance to see enchanted colors and details.

2. Combat, works in three separate ways. You can either use (Magic) it's a (Symbol) some attacks throw fire at your foes, while other attacks simply knock them back. Secondly, their is a normal steel sword very effective for fighting humans. You can swing the sword in quick, fast fluid like motion and do less damage. Or take the role of taking longer to swing the sword but inflicting greater damage. Normally their are monsters or humans you fight. Monsters are most effective used when you use a silver sword.

3. Moral Choices, much like in Dragon Age Orgins. Their are situations that require you to make a choice, and that choice (Cause and effect) has an unpredictable outcome. Warning spoilers ahead. Their was a moral choice if helped the rebel (which would have resulted in the entire town being burned down. Or helped the other guy which result in the rebels capture) they both lead to very separate missions and quests.

4. Nudity, not so much I am excited at the idea of a woman being nude. (Their are porn sites for that) unlike Bioware. Witcher 2 does not treat you like a kid, they show the person having sex. (Very briefly) but fully exposed. In bioware they had sex with their clothes on. Not a big deal but sort of breaks the illusion inside of an RPG game. Also Witcher 2 choice of words, they cuss, they do everything you would expect in a game where you hunt monsters and kill people.

Small review from a website quoted: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was conveniently released around the same time Game of Thrones was enchanting every TV owner who could afford HBO. Meanwhile computer gamers were downloading and playing Atari's dark fantasy epic. Unfortunately, I don't have HBO and wasn't downloading deep fantasy. It took me a really long time to play this game, and that's why this review is so late. I'm sorry, but I still love you.

Shortly after the tutorial The Witcher 2 drops the series' protagonist, Geralt, into a tale about regicide, and never lets up. Geralt has been framed for king-killing, and is on a quest to find the man (or men) who framed him. And this is just the introduction to the high-stakes political fantasy. Now, a game this narratively deep usually feels bogged down in unintuitive mechanics. After all, if a game is about elves with absurd characters in their name, the game should feel equally confusing. However, CD Projekt RED has created a game that's easy to play, but offers a surprising amount of depth for those seeking it. The Witcher 2 can cater to the button mashers and the hardcore tacticians, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from all fronts.

As far as the narrative goes, The Witcher 2 probably tells its story better than any other fantasy title. It doesn't take the time to tell you who each immediate character or race is, but the character models and voice acting coincide well enough that it's not too hard to realize who Geralt regards as a friend or foe.

Again, the voice acting in this game is superb. Every ridiculous line about killing dragons is delivered earnestly from the game's large ensemble of polygonal characters. It makes the entire nature of the dark fantasy believable, and gives the entire game an appropriate feeling.

If you have an awesome PC, you've probably played this game already. However, an Xbox 360 version is due for release later on, and if it's a quality conversion it'll be worth checking out. The Witcher 2 is a fresh, mature experience in a sea of silly fantasy tropes.
