Little help - Firefox/IE problem

Ok, so my computer was fucking around and running slow.  I have a program called Reg Cure which is pretty good at sorting things out, usually when i've been taking things on and off the computer.  It reorganises the registry or something.

Anyway, I ran this earlier and now none of the web addresses will save in either Firefox or IE.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both and it doesn't make a difference.

Passwords and shit are all saved.  It's just in the address bar when I click it to drop down, it's blank.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Peace

It cleared your history in both apps, more than likely.  You're pretty much fucked unless you have them as bookmarks.

Also, DONT run reg cleaners.  Absolutely fucking snake oil.  You're better off with a defrag or just removing stupid shit, clearing your cookies and cache, etc.

Right, I'm going back to using Firefox.

How do I stop it from coming up with the error message each start up telling me that the last session didn't shut down properly and do I want a new session or restart the old one?

Thanks guys.

Peace

Also, Firefox is no longer saving any of the websites I type in.  Each time I start it, the address bar is empty.

The fuck is going on with this piece of shit?

Peace

Delete your profile.

Navigate to like C:\documents and settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox on xp or C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox on Vista and delete everything in there.

Restart firefox and it should start you off with a brand new profile.

I found the profile file and deleted it but I'm still getting that message.

I'm going to try reinstalling Firefox, see if that makes a difference.

Peace
