Uuh Phantom Sounds need a li'l help

So I've been tooling around on blog tv, that shit can be slightly addictive - watching people well being asses.

Uh last night I noticed that with IE when I have multiple tabs going, that are actually active, I end up hearing the audio still. 

I uninstalled flash and quicktime, and all those plug ins, and reinstalled them.  I go to check and it's still doing it. 

I checked with Opera and it doesn't do it on there.

Prior to this, I don't know if I was noticing anything or not as I just started using IE again after that patch they put out.  I was using Firefox beforehand, and the one time I did use IE I had closed all my windows at once.

So... Anyone have any ideas?
