The greatest song in the world.
JDM: For thousands of years, scientists have tried to find answers to questions unimaginable. Such questions are: Is there life on mars?, Is there a god; and if so, is Judge that god? Yes, these questions are unimaginably hard, but none harder then this "What is the greatest song in the world?". No, its not Tribute as Jack Black suggests, but what is it?
JDM: Well my friends, your in luck for I just happen to know that answer.
JDM: The greatest song in the world is.... *Shots fired*
Random guy in room: Oh no Jordan Danger Merrick, you've been shot. Before you die, please tell us the answer!
JDM: Its.... its....
Random guy in room: What is it!!!!
JDM: Its... its.... *Dies*
Random guy in room: Oh fuck that. When does this NOT happen! Looks like I will have to ask Judge, he IS god after all... At least EFK thinks so. *walks away*

Yes, wtf am I on I know, but its 3:30 AM in aus and I felt the need to put something pointlessly random before my question.
What is your opinion on the best ever song made?
You tell me :)
Regards,
JDM
I'm going to be called a major nerd for this but I don't care. Dancing Mad from FF6 is an amazing composition. It's hard to call it the greatest song of all time but certainly incredible.
It changes everyday for me but today I think it's Small Black Flowers That Grow in the Sky by Manic Street Preachers
FREEEEEE BIRDDDD
Biology by Girls Aloud... what, just me?
Impossible question but I'd either go for "The Planets" by Holst or "A Day In The Life" by The Beatles

FREEEEEE BIRDDDD
You might be joking, but I am not. lol
That would definitely be my choice.
Dead serious bro.
That or Simple Man.
Skynyrd or nothing.
Skynard is epic!
Which ever song Tenacious D played that kept the demon away.

Beezebos??
Tribute??
:D
Actually Tribute was just a Tribute to the greatest song in the world, they have no clue what it was they sung on that faithfull night, but whatever it is it's the greatest song in the world lol...
But seriously its hard to pick but I'd go for now with Stairway to Heaven.
Thats way too hard to declare. There are so many songs. There's no one song that I could listen to everyday. There are some songs that I never get tired of hearing though.
While it's incredibly hard to point to one song above all others, there is one that I feel is a perennial frontrunner:

I can't help but find this song lyrically powerful but musically pretty week.
I'm torn between 'Boys Don't Cry' by The Cure and 'Archives of Pain' by Manic Street Preachers.
Then again, anything from Everything Must Go or before is gold for The Manics

My theory is if anyone enjoys Skynyrd in a state of sobriety then they shouldn't be allowed to breed.
1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins
Teen Age Riot by Sonic Youth
3 Libras by A Perfect Circle
Happiness is a Warm Gun by The Beatles
Do You Remember Walter? by the Kinks
My top five:
5. "Easy Rider" by Leadbelly
4. "I Know" by Fiona Apple
3. "Waiting Room" by Fugazi
2. "Lithium" by Nirvana
1. "Wave of Mutilation" by the Pixies

You're a foreigner, your opinion of Lynyrd Skynyrd doesn't exist and the American slobs who enjoy them are null and void sir. Good day!
I agree with Chris/Goonboy on Rooster, as well as with Sam on Seven Nation Army.
It really is hard to pick just one (And as I say that, I find myself agreeing with the arguments for Free Bird and Stairway To Heaven as well)
Too hard to give a single answer but my top five greatest songs are:
1. Stairway to Heaven
2. Smells Like Teen Spirit
3. Fascination Street- The Cure
4. Hotel California- The Eagles
5. Maria, Maria- Santana
the greatest song in the world

You know, it's that kinda stuff that sets Christianity back many years.
As a Christian, I can honestly say thats the worst thing I've ever seen.
