The Recommend Thread

So there's been a lot of inactivty on here lately, I take the blame for that.


In this thread guys, I want you to recommend a band or artist to the person above you in the thread. But it has to be something they might like. For that to work, after you've made your recommendation just list a few genre's and other artists you like.

For example,

Person A: "I like pop and accoustic. My favourites are Jack Johnson and John Mayer."

Person B: "I recommend you listen to Jason Mraz's earlier recordings, here's a video"


Get it? Got it? Good.

I listen to pretty much everything sans most of todays Rap, but there are still a few songs that can be good from that genre as well.

A few faves: Offspring, Alkaline Trio, Sugarland, and Skye Sweetnam

Japandroids - garage rock, lo fi, punkish, all the good stuff that mainstream rock has forgotten about.

Interpol - similar to Alkaline Trio I think, but a bit more brit-poppish.

I love garage rock and lo fi punk.
