QuoteThe Premier League have confirmed that they have received an official complaint from West Ham over Fulham manager Roy Hodgson's decision to field a weakened team against Hull.

Hodgson chose to rest five key players for the 2-0 defeat at the KC Stadium, which allowed the Tigers to pull level with Gianfranco Zola's relegation threatened side on 27 points.

Bobby Zamora, Danny Murphy, Damien Duff, Aaron Hughes and Dickson Etuhu all missed the defeat but returned for their 2-1 win over Wolfsburg, which prompted the West Ham hierarchy to claim that Hodgson broke Premier League rules.

A Premier League spokesman said: "We can confirm that we have received an official complaint from West Ham over this matter.

"We will now ask Fulham for their observations and then the Premier League board will then consider what actions, if any, are appropriate."

Premier League rules state that all teams must field their strongest side available for all games.

Should Fulham be found guilty, the Premier League could decide to impose a penalty similar to the £25,000 suspended fine handed to Wolves after Mick McCarthy rested nine of his players for his side's defeat at Manchester United in September.

Bullshit. West Hame can't play their way out of trouble so they find excuses. If we played such a weakened team which included South African and US internationals, they should shit themselves at playing our strongest team. Roy's response to the allegations is beatiful.

The Premier League have confirmed that they have received an official complaint from West Ham over Fulham manager Roy Hodgson's decision to field a weakened team against Hull.

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has reportedly confirmed that the relegation-threatened club will make a complaint to the Premier League about Hodgson's admission that he fielded a weakened side in the 2-0 loss at the KC Stadium - a result which brought Hull level with the Hammers on 27 points.

He will argue that Fulham deserve to be punished in a similar fashion to Wolves, who were hit with a suspended £25,000 fine for fielding a weakened side in their defeat at Manchester United.

Thursday night's 2-1 Europa League quarter final first leg win over Wolfsburg was Fulham's 52nd match of the season and Hodgson said: "Firstly I don't think West Ham should be picking our team and I think that is a fairly obvious statement."

He added: "If there is a complaint but my conscience is perfectly clear on the subject and as far as I'm concerned we don't have a case to answer.

"In the last game I selected a team comprising of a defender just sold for £10m (Chris Smalling), a South African international (Kagisho Dikgacoi), who replaced Danny Murphy and I replaced Bobby Zamora with Clint Dempsey, a USA centre forward.

"I can't understand why, if you have a large squad, it's not allowed for you to change things around. I can't imagine anyone questioning Liverpool, Manchester United or Chelsea for using all the players in their squad."

Zamora's 18th goal of the season gave Fulham the lead before he set up Damien Duff to put the Cottagers 2-0 ahead.

Alexander Madlung's last-minute header ensured the Bundesliga champions came away from Craven Cottage with a vital away goal to set up a nail-biting encounter in Wolfsburg next week.

So all in all you porn loving cunts, go fuck yourselves.

Thats actually pathetic. West Ham are just pissed that Hull won and West Ham can't...

Surely if Hodgson wants to rest the players for the Europa league then that's entirely up to him.

I think any club has any right to fieled whatever side they feel fit. At the end of it all thats why clubs have things like squad rotation policies. Its called being tactical. The Hammers shouldnt be that low down in the league, its their own fault nobody elses.
