Hiddink to Chelsea?

Chelsea look to be moving closer to naming Turkey coach Guus Hiddink as their new manager.

Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Hiddink being named as the new man at the helm at Stamford Bridge from 9/4 to 1/8.

The Turkish FA (TFF) have insisted there will be no developments whilst the Dutchman is on holiday but privately admit they are powerless to stop the 64-year-old returning to Stamford Bridge.

Hiddink piloted Chelsea to the FA Cup as caretaker manager in 2009 and is widely believed to be the Blues' No. 1 candidate to replace sacked boss Carlo Ancellotti

This was the rumour all along, and Hiddink has even come out and said that he would love it. 

I can't see him not taking it as he has openly said he would prefer to take on a club management role over an international one.  He has already been there, Roman likes him, So why not?

He's already on the payroll and has said he wants to go there. It's basically only a question of if he's to be manager or "director of football" and when the loose end of Turkey can be sorted out I think. I'm surprised they're still taking bets on him.

I know which I would choose.  The fact he has been there before makes it a cert.  I cant believe they were giving odds of 9/4 to begin with.

If he goes as 'Director of football' then they will still go for a manager.. I fucking hate that role because its not needed.  He still runs the team, just has a puppet to take the shit

14 mil for hiddink.. Hughes as a first team coach seems silly.

But what, Roman to spend atleast 100mil to keep the squad up to date with City?

Thats what the summer window is about.. Roman has to spend in order to win anything
