Dorling

He's gone to a club with better facilities, better players, more money and a higher wage.

Couldn't really turn the job down.

Bolton actually have massive debts, Palace have more money. They are reportedly losing £8m a year. Apparently Parish and co. offered a massive contract to DF to make him stay but all he was interested in was being in charge of a team that had the ambition to go to the Premier League (one day before Palace maintain their unbeaten run to 9 games and Bolton continue to sit around 15th or 16th). Fact is, he preached about money meaning very little to him and that he wouldn't leave a job half done but he's done that and in the process he has lost his status at Palace.

Early favourite to replace DF is Steve Coppell/Mark Bright, Mick McCarthy or Billy Davies. My money is on Mick McCarthy as his daughter works at Selhurst and Mark Bright has suggested he's got no interest in managing on Facebook and is happy coaching the youths at CPFC. Though Parish, who sounded very upset on talkSPORT, has said he's going to talk to Coppell.

Personally I'd welcome any one of the former players in Roy Hodgson, Chris Coleman, Alan Pardew or Gareth Southgate...
