OVW TV #726 Preview: ODB Returns!



Here's what we already know courtesy of the official OVW Facebook page:



OVW alumni and current TNA Knockout ODB returns to the Davis Arena!



The OVW Television Title is on the line as the "King of Pink" Dylan Bostic defends against the red-hot Rudy Switchblade.



Newcomer Yaden Matthews will face Shiloh Jonze of the "Marauders".



Jessie Godderz will have his fate in the hands of the OVW fans. After losing again last week to Elvis Pridemoore, what consequence will he face?



Will any other TNA stars make an appearance the night before IMPACT is live in Louisville?



What will happen next between the champ and the challenger? Will Jay Bradley want a piece of "Nacho", as he calls Jamin Olivencia, or will Jamin be looking for him?

OVW TV #726: "Twas the Night Before IMPACT"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, July 17, 2013. In this episode, a main event tag team match is set involving OVW Heavyweight Champion Jamin Olivencia & #1 contender Jay Bradley, OVW Women's Champion Trina is in a 3-way match, Dylan Bostic defends the OVW Television Title against Rudy Switchblade, "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz has to wrestle with a fan chosen punishment for his losing streak, plus more!



Jay Bradley comes to the ring and calls Jamin Olivencia "Nacho Oliveres" again. He says "Nacho" is afraid of him and that's why he attacked him and flipped a table on him last week. He nows he can't beat someone of his size.



Jamin comes to the ring and says he is not afraid and if memory serves him correctly, he left Jay lying in the ring last week. He then says the contract signed last week was bogus and he never signed it. Jay knows it, he knows it, and the fans know it. Jay says it's correct, but Jamin says he brought someone in to litigate the contract...Joseph Park.



Park comes to the ring and looks it over. He says the contract says if Jamin gets counted out or disqualified, Jay automatically wins the title? He says it also has a stipulation that Jay can take timeouts at his discretion? Jay says someone like him needs to stay hydrated. He also says that hispanic people like Jamin are known for lying, cheating, and stealing. Park says the paper is not worth the paper it's written on and tears it up. Jay says "Nacho" had to get a big guy to back him up. He says if he had a partner, he would take them on. Marcus Anthony walks out and Jay says he guesses he made a friend. So we have a main event of Jay Bradley & Marcus Anthony vs. Jamin Olivencia & Joseph Park.

Shiloh Jonze (w/Joe Coleman, Raul LaMotta, & Flash Flanagan (on commentary)) vs. Yaden Matthews



Shiloh attacks Yaden. Yaden kicks Shiloh, but Shiloh pulls him down across the second rope and then jumps across him. He hits Yaden and rams him in the corner. He goes outside and pulls Yaden by the legs, low blowing him with the ring post. Back inside, Yaden slaps Shiloh, but Shiloh shoulders Yaden in the gut and pulls his head down across the top rope. He hits Yaden with a flying fist. He finishes him off with a scissor kick to get the 3.

WINNER: SHILOH by pinfall.

In the back, Randy Royal tells Rudy Switchblade he wants his title shot against Dylan Bostic. Rudy says no. Royal says he needs the money and says we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Rudy says he can do it any way he wants, but he's keeping his title shot for the Television Title. We then see Taeler Hendrix & Envy walking down the hallway and Taeler tells Envy that Wednesdays are for blue nail polish, not red. They walk in on Jessie Godderz, who wants some privacy, and they call him a loser.



TNA Knockout ODB comes to the ring. She says it's good to be back. She talks about how when she was in OVW, she started the Women's division. She won the first ever OVW Women's Title in Rio De Janeiro. She got arrested at a show at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. She wrestled with the likes of Beth Phoenix, Serena, Katie Lea, Alicia Fox, & Kelly Kelly. She said she wouldn't mind getting a little physical tonight, and asks for the toughest girl in the back to come out. Trina answers the call and says she is the OVW Women's Champion. Lei'd Tapa then comes out. ODB tells Tapa "Don't eat me." Tapa says that Trina might be champion, but she is the toughest here. ODB says how about we do a 3-way...BAM!

Lei'd Tapa vs. ODB vs. Trina



Tapa hits Trina. ODB hits Tapa and chops her in the corner. Trina hits ODB, but ODB hits her back with a chest bump, then locks her in a headlock and slaps her in the butt. Tapa comes firing back on both, but ODB hits back and goes for a slam, but Tapa falls on top of ODB. ODB & Trina team up to take Tapa off her feet with a double shoulder tackle. Trina then rolls ODB up from behind for 2. ODB runs at Trina, and Trina pulls the top rope down causing ODB to fly out. She turns into a big boot from Tapa and Tapa gets the 3.

WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.

In the back, Michael Hayes & Ali Vaez walk in to the building and stop off at the restroom where they laugh at Jessie Godderz and say "that's a lot of pink". We then see Jay Bradley talking to Marcus Anthony and telling him to bring his "beast mode" and he'll bring the "Boomstick". Marcus tells Jay he's not looking out for him, he's looking out for himself.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "The King of Pink & Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic (c) vs. Rudy Switchblade



Dylan & Rudy have a good back and forth match going. Rudy catches Dylan with the elevated Boston Crab, but Randy Royal runs out and attacks Rudy.

WINNER: RUDY by DQ.
STILL OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION: BOSTIC.

Royal throws Bostic out of the ring and pounds on Rudy. Tony Gunn, who was wearing a sling on one arm, ran out to go after Royal. He got some shots in, but Royal fired back and threw Gunn into the barricade twice and had to be pulled away by officials and other superstars.

In the back, EFD & Timmy Danger are talking and also stop at the restroom and walk in on Jessie Godderz and laugh. The Assassin is standing behind them. They run away, and the Assassin looks in the restroom at Jessie and just shakes his head.

Dean Hill is in the ring and says Jessie Godderz had the world by a string. He was a Big Brother star, TNA star, and the ladies would probably say he has quite good looks. Ever since he split from his tag partner however, he has been losing and losing and losing. The fans got to vote and he brings out Jessie Godderz. His punishment is wearing a pink bunny suit.



Jessie yells he is not a loser and tells Dean he hates him and that this is all his fault. Dean says he is sorry he feels that way, but tells Jessie he is in control of how long he has to wear it.



Once he wins, he doesn't have to wear it anymore. Until then, he can't take it off or he'll be fined, fired, and lose his TNA contract.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Jack Dundee



Dundee hits and slams Jessie. Jessie charges him, but runs face first into the turnbuckle. Dundee hits a moonsault off the top rope for the 3.

WINNER: DUNDEE by pinfall.

Marcus Anthony & Jay Bradley vs. Joseph Park & Jamin Olivencia







Jamin locks up Marcus from behind. Marcus elbows him, but Jamin comes firing back. Jamin runs off the ropes, but is caught with a clothesline. Jay tags himself in, but Jamin fires away on him. Park is tagged and hits some slams on Jay. Park tags Jamin back. Jamin goes up top, but misses a splash. Marcus tags himself in and charges Jamin, but Jamin moves, and Marcus hits the corner. Jamin tags Park. Park takes Marcus down and hits a big slam. Jay tags in and yells at Marcus as Park tags Jamin back. Jamin knees Jay in the back. Marcus tags back in and as he argues with Jay, Park pulls Jay outside. As they brawl, Marcus hits Jamin with the Gamma Punch. Before the 3, Jay pulls the ref out. Jay & Marcus shove each other and Jay tells Marcus to get out. Jay hits Jamin with the Boomstick and gets the 3.

WINNERS: JAY & MARCUS by pinfall.

OVW TV #727 Preview: TV Title Rematch

OVW TV #727: "Jay's Challenge to Jamin"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, July 24, 2013. In this episode, Jay Bradley has a stipulation for Jamin Olivencia, Dylan Bostic again defends the OVW Television Title against Rudy Switchblade, "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz has to wrestle again in the pink bunny suit, all the Femme Fatales want a shot at Trina's OVW Women's Title, plus more!



Jay Bradley comes to the ring and talks about his upcoming match at SNS against Jamin Olivencia.



Jamin comes out and Jay says he had a contract made up, and that there are other attorneys who work at Park, Park, & Park. He said this contract has a stipulation.



Marcus Anthony sneaks out behind Jamin and attacks him from behind. Jay says he gets to pick an opponent for Jamin tonight, and he just met him.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLES:
"The VIP Club" J. Best & Roberto De Luna (w/"VIP" Joe Rosa) vs. "The Really Really New Rockers" Rockstar Spud & Ryan Howe





The Rockers work over Best's arm. They hit him with a double dropkick and Howe hits Roberto with a dropkick as he runs in. The Rockers double hip toss Best and double dropkick Roberto. Howe hits his sliding uppercut to Best and Spud follows it up with a bulldog. Rosa throws his jacket in the ring distracting the ref. He throws a glass of champagne into the eyes of Howe and Best rolls him up for 3.

WINNERS and #1 CONTENDERS: VIP CLUB by pinfall.

Joe Coleman (w/Flash Flanagan, Raul LaMotta, & Shiloh Jonze (on commentary)) vs. "The Illusionist" Damian



Joe fires away on Damian and slams him. He does the choking pushups and hits a forearm in the corner. He tries a second time, but Damian moves. Damian starts to fire back, but Coleman catches him with a side effect for 3.

WINNER: COLEMAN by pinfall.



The Mean Girls come to the ring and Taeler Hendrix says she wants to become a 4-time Women's Champion.



Trina comes out and says she is willing to accept any challenge.



Heidi Lovelace comes out and says that Taeler may have been the first to defeat Trina, but she defeated Taeler with the "Kiss of Death".



Before you know it, Jessie Belle, Nikki St. John, the Blossoms, & Lovely Lylah are all out saying why they deserve to get a title shot.





They all begin to fight as Lei'd Tapa makes her way out. Tapa & Trina clear the ring, and Trina turns into a big boot from Tapa. Tapa says this ring is her island and she is here to dominate!

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Rudy Switchblade vs. "The King of Pink & Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic (c)





Tony Gunn comes out first and says he has been looking for Randy Royal, but cannot find him. He is going to sit at ringside and wait for him. Dylan & Rudy have a good back and forth match going. Rudy catches Dylan with the elevated Boston Crab, but Randy Royal runs out and attacks Gunn with a chair. With the ref distracted, Bostic is tapping out, but the ref doesn't see it. Rudy gets out and goes after Royal, which leaves Bostic in the ring alone and the ref counts Rudy out.

WINNER and STILL OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION: BOSTIC by countout.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz walks out and tells Dean Hill again that he is a loser and it's his fault that he has to wear the stupid bunny costume. He tells Dean to go grab anyone from the back to face him so he can win and get out of it. Dean leaves for a moment and then tells Jessie to "hop" into the ring as he has found someone.

"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. "The Welsh Colossus" Rob Terry



Big Rob takes Jessie down. He hurts his knee during the match, but still fights through it and finishes Jessie off with a big powerslam for 3.

WINNER: TERRY by pinfall.

Jessie was taunted by fans with carrots.

Marcus Anthony vs. Jamin Olivencia

Jamin goes right after Marcus. Jamin runs at Marcus and is caught with a clothesline. Marcus kicks him and then rams him in the corner. He puts Jamin in a chinlock. Jamin hits a chinbuster to get out of it. Marcus charges him, but Jamin catches him with a boot to the face. He hits a missile dropkick, his jumping clothesline, and goes for a move off the top rope, but Marcus catches him and slams him. Jay Bradley runs out, but Marcus hits him off the apron. Jamin gets back to his feet and fires away on Marcus. Marcus fires back and goes for the Gamma Punch, but Jamin reverses it into the Standing O for the 3.

WINNER: JAMIN by pinfall.



Jamin said he also had a stipulation, and next week Jay Bradley will have a match against Rob Terry!

OVW TV #728: "Could Jay Bradley Survive the Welsh Colossus?"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, July 31, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this final episode before the next Saturday Night Special on August 3rd, Jay Bradley meets Rob Terry, Dylan Bostic defends the OVW Television Title against Flash Flanagan, the Femme Fatales compete in a battle royal for #1 contendership for the OVW Women's Title, plus more!


Without further ado:


Here we go...

The show starts off with Dean Hill sending condolences to the friends and family of former USWA commentator and Memphis wrestling staple, Corey Maclin, who passed away following a car accident.

In the back, Jay Bradley yells at Chris Sharpe to do something about the contract and his match with Rob Terry since he's the senior official. Sharpe says he is not an attorney. He says that Jay got to pick Marcus Anthony to go against Jamin Olivencia last week, and Jamin picked Rob Terry to go against him tonight. Jay says fine.

"VIP" Joe Rosa (w/"The VIP Club" J. Best & Roberto De Luna) vs. Michael Hayes (w/Mohamad Ali Vaez).

Rosa says they play by "VIP rules" meaning that anyone can fight at anytime. In this case, "The Mexicutioner" will be facing Hayes.

"The Mexicutioner" Roberto De Luna (w/"VIP" Joe Rosa & J. Best) vs. Michael Hayes (w/Mohamad Ali Vaez).



Roberto shoves Hayes down twice. He throws haymakers at Hayes, but Hayes ducks. Hayes runs into a shoulder tackle. Hayes fires back, and is able to deliver a shoulder tackle to Roberto and take him off his feet. He drops a headbutt, but Roberto moves. Roberto hits a side slam and rams Hayes in the corner. Roberto fires away and headbutts Hayes, but Hayes starts to hulk up. Hayes fires back, hits a backdrop, and hits a flying headbutt. He locks Roberto in a crossface, but VIP interferes. Ali chases him to the back. Roberto rolls Hayes up, but Hayes kicks out at 2 and locks Roberto back in the crossface. Best gets on the apron, and Ali takes him down. With the ref distracted, VIP runs back out and clocks Hayes in the back of the head with the champagne bucket. Roberto gets the 3.

WINNER: ROBERTO by pinfall.

In the back, Jay Bradley tells Marcus Anthony that dogs that don't obey are put down. Marcus says he is looking for a shot at the title as well. Jay attacks Marcus and injures his leg as he yells that he is in the BFG series and after Saturday, he will be OVW Heavyweight Champion.

Jamin Olivencia is on the phone with Big Rob Terry, who hasn't made it to the arena yet due to car trouble. Tony Gunn and Rudy Switchblade are standing nearby. Jamin asks if they can help him out. They say they would love to, but have a lot going on with Randy Royal and the TV Title picture. Jamin understands, and Rudy and Gunn promise each other that they'll watch each other's backs.

The Marauders are back again. Shiloh Jonze says the OVW you used to know is no more, and their warpath begins tonight.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Flash Flanagan (w/Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, & Joe Coleman (on commentary)) vs. "The King of Pink & Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling" Dylan Bostic (c).



Flash fires away. He gets Bostic in the corner and misses an attack. Dylan arm drags him. Flash comes back and kicks Dylan in the corner. He clubs him down and drops a knee for 2. Off the ropes, Bostic with a sunset flip, but Shiloh distracts the ref. Raul chokes Dylan across the ropes while Flash distracts the ref. Flash chops Dylan, goes for another, but Dylan moves, and Dylan with a chop to Flash. Dylan charges Flash, but Flash kicks him. Flash knees Dylan in the head and sends him off the ropes. Dylan comes back with a cross body that sends them both crashing over the top rope and to the floor. Dylan rams Flash head first into the steps and rolls him in for 2. Flash and Dylan have several reversals off the ropes and Dylan kicks Flash in the chest. He kicks him again and delivers a chinbuster off his shoulder. He goes up top, but Flash catches him and delivers a top rope DDT.



He goes for the pin, but Randy Royal runs out and grabs the ref out of the ring. Tony Gunn runs out as well as Rudy Switchblade. The Marauders, Royal, Gunn, & Rudy are all brawling as Dylan crawls to the back and everyone has to be separated. Royal gets back to Gunn and throws him into the ringpost shoulder first. An upset Flash hits Royal in the head with the kendo stick and the Marauders attack Royal to the back.

As OVW Women's Champion Trina comes out for commentary, Dean Hill says that "Peter Cotton-", he means Jessie Godderz was supposed to have a match, but called and said that this was all his fault and wasn't competing tonight. He refuses to wrestle in the bunny suit and Danny Davis is reviewing it.



FEMME FATALE BATTLE ROYAL TO CROWN #1 CONTENDER FOR THE OVW WOMEN'S TITLE: (In order of entry) Taeler Hendrix, Heidi Lovelace, Hannah Blossom, Nikki St. John, Holly Blossom, Lovely Lylah, Jessie Belle, Lei'd Tapa, & Envy.







Taeler & Nikki eliminate Holly, Tapa eliminates Hannah, Taeler, Nikki, Jessie Belle, Lylah, & Envy. Tapa goes to powerbomb Heidi out of the ring, but Heidi holds on to the top rope and headscissors Tapa over for the win.

WINNER and #1 CONTENDER: HEIDI.



Trina gets in the ring to congratulate Heidi. Tapa reenters the ring and Heidi turns into a big boot. Trina then gets the spinning diamond cutter finisher as Tapa yells that this is her island and holds up the OVW Women's Title.



The Assassin comes out to help Trina & Heidi up and raises their hands.



Jay Bradley comes to the ring and says Rob Terry is not here, he's afraid. Jay tells Chris Sharpe to start the count. Jamin Olivencia comes out and says he just got off the phone with Rob, and to give him another couple minutes. Jay says Rob's not here, and it's not his fault Rob has 4 flat tires. Jamin asks "Who said anything about 4 flat tires?". Jamin goes after Jay and they have to be separated. Jay yells at Sharpe again to start the count. Rob shows up in street clothes just before the 10 count.

Big Rob clubs Jay and locks him in an armbar. He rams Jay in the corner. Jay rolls out of the ring, but Jamin rolls him back in. Rob elbows Jay in the corner. He rams his head into one turnbuckle, and then another. He hits a fall away slam. Rob goes to grab him, but Jay grabs him and pulls him out of the ring. Jay gets on the apron and jumps out on Rob, but Rob catches him. Jay slides off Rob's shoulders, and pushes Rob into a pole in the arena. Rob makes it back in before the 10 count. Jay hits a big boot and then gets on the top rope and drives a knee into Rob's back. He slams the big man and hits a kneedrop and elbow drop. He locks in a sleeper, but Rob gets to his feet and falls backward to break the hold. Rob hits Jay with a high knee for a 2 count. He clotheslines Jay twice, and then backflips Jay. He splashes him in the corner. Jay goes to the outside. Rob grabs him, but Jay pulls Rob's head down across the top rope. Jay gets in and Rob scoops him up for a powerslam, but Jay rakes his eyes. While the ref checks on Rob, Jay pulls something from his trunks and slips it in the Boomstick. Jay delivers a loaded Boomstick to Rob to get the 3.

OVW Saturday Night Special August 2013 Results

This is the OVW Saturday Night Special Report for Saturday, August 3, 2013. Tonight, Jamin Olivencia defended the OVW Heavyweight Title against Jay Bradley, Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez defended the OVW Southern Tag Team Titles against the VIP Club, Trina defended the OVW Women's Title against Heidi Lovelace, Dylan Bostic defended the OVW Television Title against Flash Flanagan, Randy Royal, & Rudy Switchblade, plus much more!





Danny Davis comes to the ring first and talks about OVW's new monthly event, Old School. It will take fans back to the 80's style of wrestling with 80's prices. He then calls out Jessie Godderz and says that when a man makes a bet and loses, he has to honor it.



He says Jessie will have a match tonight and he has to wear the bunny suit or he's fired and will call his contacts in TNA to see that he's suspended there, too.





The A-List (Taeler Hendrix & Envy) come out as special guest ring announcers. Taeler says she should be in a title match, then her & Envy introduce the teams.

TAG TEAM MATCH: Bodyguy & 4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus vs. "The Really Really New Rockers" Ryan Howe & Rockstar Spud



Spud asks Taeler & Envy what the "A" stands for in A-List, is it A for Annoying? He says no one wants to see Little Red Riding Hood with a fat backside (Taeler), or Carrot Top with overpriced implants (Envy).



Howe & Bodyguy lock up. Howe with an armbar, tags Spud. Spud hits Bodyguy's arm off the 2nd rope. Howe is tagged and works over the arm some more. 4M tags in. He locks up with Howe and slings Howe across the ring. Howe comes back and locks up 4M from behind, but 4M slings him off. Howe grabs 4M's arm, but 4M shoves him down. 4M tags Bodyguy who locks in a sleeper. Howe drags himself to his corner and tags Spud. He throws Bodyguy off the ropes and they deliver a double hip toss. Spud delivers 3 dropkicks. Bodyguy grabs the ref, allowing 4M to club Spud from behind. Bodyguy tags 4M and 4M delivers a big slam. Bodyguy is tagged back in, hits Spud in the gut, and slams him. He drops a forearm, then goes up top. He tries a forearm from the top, but Spud moves. Spud crawls through Bodyguy's legs to tag Howe. Howe fires away and as he hits an atomic drop, 4M blind tags. He charges at Howe, but Howe moves, and 4M plows into Bodyguy. Howe tags Spud, hits the Chart Topper on 4M, and Spud follows it up with the flying elbow for the 3.

6-MAN TAG: The Marauders: "Thunderlats" Joe Coleman, "Rudo" Raul LaMotta, & Shiloh Jonze vs. Aaron Sky & Lambda Lambda Lambda: Albert Einstein Baxter II & Stephon J. Baxter III



Shiloh tells his opponents they have the opportunity to just walk away, but they don't and fire away on the Marauders. They all work over the arm of Coleman. The Baxters try to each twist the arm of Coleman, but he rams them into each other. He goes off the ropes, but they catch him with a double hip toss. Coleman grabs Stephon and throws him from the ring. Raul & Shiloh hit him and Flash hits him with the kendo stick. Shiloh & Raul double team him and Raul rakes his eyes. He stomps him and tags Coleman back. Coleman slams him and hits a splash after jumping over him and off the second rope. Shiloh comes in and hits a knee drop for 2. Coleman is back and kicks him and goes for another splash, but Stephon moves. Aaron gets the hot tag and comes in on fire. Flash distracts the ref as Aaron hits a big cross body off the top. Shiloh hits Aaron with a flying fist off the top rope, and Coleman covers him for the 3.

Elvis Pridemoore vs. "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer



Dumeyer fires away and chops Elvis. Elvis fires back and keeps Dumeyer from hitting his bulldog finisher. He connects with a roundhouse kick. Dumeyer comes back and hits the bulldog, but Elvis grabs his iPod and clocks Dumeyer to get the 3.

WINNER: ELVIS by pinfall.

After the match, the Assassin comes out, but Elvis ducks his clotheslines and runs off. Assassin then helps Dumeyer up and raises his hand.



"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Eddie F. Diamond (w/Timmy Danger)



Jessie misses with some wild swings. EFD stomps on his foot to make him "hop". Jessie locks in a side headlock and every time EFD tries to break loose, he grabs him by the hair to keep him in the hold. Finally, EFD reverses, and does the same to Jessie, pulling hi back into the side headlock by his bunny ears while Danger distracted the ref. EFD slams Jessie and delivers a hip toss. He hits an inverted atomic drop followed by a dropkick. EFD forearms Jessie, but Jessie grabs him and pulls him out of the ring. EFD comes back in into a powerslam for 2. As Jessie yells over to Dean Hill, EFD tries to roll Jessie up for 2. Jessie gets angry and pounds away on EFD, but EFD comes back with an enziguri to the head. Both men are down. EFD comes up firing away. He hits a backdrop, a backflip, and the Soulja Boy Shuffle for the 3.

WINNER: DIAMOND by pinfall.

After the match, Jessie argues with "Micro" and other fans who are calling him a loser and yelling at him to "hop on back".

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The VIP Club ("VIP" Joe Rosa, Roberto De Luna, & J. Best) vs. Mohamad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes (c)



Ali & Hayes are facing VIP & Best when VIP announces that he chooses Roberto as his partner under "VIP Club" rules. Roberto sneaks in behind Ali and puts him in a headlock. Ali omes back and him & Hayes work Roberto over in the corner. VIP is tagged in and he gets worked over as well. Hayes throws Ali into VIP, splashing him in the corner. Hayes comes back in and headbutts and backdrops VIP, and then does the same to Roberto. Best gets on the apron, but Ali clocks him. Meanwhile, VIP hits Hayes from behind. He double teams Hayes with Roberto while the ref tries to get Ali back in the corner. Roberto rams Hayes in the corner with his shoulder and splashes him. VIP tags in and hits Hayes, but misses his V-I-P legdrop. Roberto comes in and misses. VIP grabs Hayes for Roberto, but Hayes breaks free and Roberto hits VIP. Hayes tags Ali, and he fires away on them and DDT's Roberto. Best tries to hit Ali from behind, but Ali moves and Best hits Roberto. Hayes gives Best the kneebuster and Ali hits the neckbreaker. He then pins Roberto for the win.

OVW WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Heidi Lovelace vs. Trina Thompson (c)



They lock up and Heidi runs into Trina and bounces off. Trina plows her down and wraps Heidi's arms around her neck in a submission. Heidi breaks out and dropkics Trina, but doesn't knock her down. She goes for a second, but misses. She pulls Heidi's arms back with her knee in the middle of Heidi's back for another submission. Heidi hits Trina off, but as she gets up, Trina charges her and clotheslines her hard. Trina throws her from corner to corner. The third time, Heidi jumps up and locks her legs around Trina's head, but Trina drops her down on her face. She charges Heidi in the corner, but Heidi moves. She charges again, and again Heidi moves. Heidi with 2 clotheslines that don't knock down Trina, but a dropkick does. 2 count. Heidi goes up top, but Trina gets to her and slams her off the top for 2. Trina goes for the samoan drop, but Heidi slides over and rolls Trina up for 2. Trina grabs Heidi and this time connects with the samoan drop for the 3.

WINNER: TRINA by pinfall.

After the match, Tapa tells Trina that she can hold on to the title now, but she is in her ring, her island, and will make Trina look like an elephant and take the Women's Title and dominate.

OVW TV TITLE MATCH: "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal vs. Rudy Switchblade vs. Flash Flanagan (w/the Marauders) vs. "The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling & King of Pink" Dylan Bostic (c)



Before the match even starts, Tony Gunn runs out and brawls to the back with Royal, basically making this a triple threat. Also, referee Chris Sharpe throws the Marauders out. Dylan tries to roll up Flash, but Rudy sunset flips Dylan. Flash is knocked out of the ring. Rudy slides out, but Flash clotheslines him. Dylan flies out of the ring crashing into Flash. Dylan tries to roll Rudy up as Flash gets on the apron. Flash flips over both of them, rolling Dylan up and Rudy goes flying across the ring. Rudy comes back and gets Flash in the elevated Boston crab. Dylan gets back up and kicks Rudy in the head to break the hold. Flash grabs Dylan and holds him as Rudy charges with a dropkick. Dylan moves, and Flash is dropkicked. Flash comes back and DDT's and suplexes Dylan & Rudy simultaneously. Flash goes up top, but Dylan jumps up and catches him. He goes for a suplex as Rudy gets up. Rudy gets underneath Dylan and powerbombs Dylan as Dylan suplexes Flash. Rudy gets back to his feet and hits the frog splash on Dylan, but Flash distracts the ref. The Marauders return to ringside and pull Rudy from the ring. Flash crawls over and pins Dylan for the 3.

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Jay Bradley vs. Jamin Olivencia (c)



Jay locks up with Jamin in the ropes. Jamin with a back elbow and a spinning kick. Jay to the outside, Jamin dropkicks Jay through the ropes. Jay pulls Jamin out and hits his head off the apron. He charges Jamin back inside, but Jamin knees him in the head. Jay pulls Jamin to the outside. Going out, Jamin gets back up and kicks the rope, low-blowing Jay. Jay falls to the outside. Jamin gets on the ring apron and hits Jay with flying knees to the head. He hits Jay around the outside of the ring. He rolls Jay in and goes up top. Jay gets back up and hits Jamin with a big boot, knocking him to the floor. Back inside, Jay hits Jamin and locks him in a bearhug. Jamin headbutts Jay to break free and delivers the jumping clothesline. He runs into Jay's knee in the corner. Jay with a big suplex for 2. Jay kicks, slams, and drops 3 elbows on Jamin. He locks in the abdominal stretch using the rope for leverage. Referee Chris Sharpe finally catches him and has him break the hold. Jamin jumps on Jay's back and locks in a sleeper, but Jay rams Jamin into the corner to break the hold. He delivers an uppercut to the back and locks Jamin in the legscissors. Jamin elbows Jay in the head to break loose. Jay slams him, but Jamin kicks him in the face. Jamin charges, but Jay catches him with a huge spinebuster for 2. Jay throws Jamin to the outside and slams him on the floor. Jay jumps off the apron with an elbow, but misses. Jamin crawls in as Jay gets on the apron. Jay hits him in the gut and tries to suplex him to the outside, but Jamin blocks it and rams Jay's head in the turnbuckle. He knees Jay in the head, and with Jay laying in between the ropes, Jamin drops a knee from the second rope across the back of Jay's head. He hits a swinging neckbreaker. He fires away with forearms to Jay, and a knee to his head. He goes up top and hits the reverse splash for 2. Jay claws Jamin's eyes. He goes for a backdrop, but Jamin falls across Jay for 2. Jay rams Jamin in the corner and puts him on the top rope. Jamin headbutts Jay to the mat and hits a missile dropkick for 2. Jamin hits the kamikaze splash in the corner. He goes for another, but Jay catches him with the Boomstick for 2. He puts something in the Boomstick as Jamin jumps up 3 different times for the Standing O. Each time, Jay rams Jamin, backflips him, and helicopter slams him. He hits Jamin with the loaded Boomstick, knocking him from the ring. Jay rolls him in for 2. Jamin hits a Standing O off the second rope, and exposes the weapon in Jay's Boomstick. He wraps it around his fist and clocks Jay.

WINNER: BRADLEY by DQ,



but STILL OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: OLIVENCIA.



Jamin hits Jay with the title belt after the match for good measure.

OVW Old School Results: August 4, 2013

OVW presented its first ever "Old School" show. Fans were transported back in time with wrestling, wrestling attire, and theme music from the 70's & 80's. It was a lot of fun and a great time to just sit back and enjoy some good old wrestling action.

OVW TV #729: "Happy Birthday Jamin"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, August 7, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Randy Royal wants to finish things with Tony Gunn, Jay Bradley throws a birthday party for Jamin Olivencia, the TV Title is on the line as Flash defends against Eddie Diamond, the #1 contender for the TV Title is determined between Dylan Bostic & Rudy Switchblade, plus more!

Without further ado:



#1 CONTENDER FOR THE OVW TV TITLE: "The King of Pink" Dylan Bostic vs. Rudy Switchblade

They lock up and Rudy with a side headlock takedown. Dylan shoves Rudy, and Rudy shoves back. Rudy kicks the legs of Bostic and throws him off the ropes. Bostic with a sunset flip, but Rudy rolls through and drops an elbow. Dylan on the apron, Rudy hits down and then dropkicks him into the announce table. Rudy goes to fly out, but Dylan hits him. He goes up top, but Rudy rolls to the other side of the ring. Dylan charges at him and hits him. He goes back up and misses a flying elbow. Rudy knees Dylan in the back and then locks him in the Boston Crab for the tapout.

WINNER and #1 CONTENDER for the TV TITLE: RUDY by submission.



Randy Royal comes to the ring and says he has had enough of Tony Gunn. He says Gunn has cost him his livelihood, and he has tried beating him like a dog and wants to end this tonight. He doesn't have anything left and wants his TV Title back. When he was winning and collecting $1000 a week, he was putting a dent in that $51000 medical bill, then somebody he thought was a friend stabbed him in the back. He says no one knows what it's like to get up and work all day and then have to get in the cab of your pickup truck and live there, because you don't have a home to go to.



Tony Gunn comes out and says that he put his career on hold for Randy and is getting what he deserves. Royal says he is jealous and that he cost him his last chance to get the TV Title back at SNS. Gunn says he may only have one arm right now, but Randy is a wuss. Royal wants to fight later and says he doesn't care if he has to put one hand behind his back. Gunn says he is not 100%, but is 101% sure he is gonna shove his fist down Royal's throat.



Taeler Hendrix vs. 1 of the Blossom Twins

Taeler grabs a mic and says she is ready to wrestle, but wants to know who she is facing. She throws a Sharpie at them and says to mark who she is fighting. Before the Blossoms can decide, the Bodyguy's voice comes over the speakers. He says it is time for his big debut.



He comes to the ring and says "If the ladies don't mind, and I know they don't, watch me as I take off my robe."



Before he can (thankfully), the Assassin's music hits, and he takes the Bodyguy out with a huge clothesline.



Jay Bradley comes out and says he has another win over "Nacho Oliveres". He said he is also in the Bound for Glory Series where he will win the TNA Heavyweight Title, and the OVW Heavyweight Title on the way.



He says he is here to throw a birthday party for "Nacho", and brings some ladies out to the ring. He asks Jamin to come out and tells the sound guys to play the music.



Some latin music plays as Jamin walks out. He assures Jamin that he is not out to fight, he has no wrist tape on, nor his "boom sleeve". He grabs one of Jamin's cards that has a monkey on the front and says these gifts are from people who know him well. He says the monkey card looks just like him, short and hairy. It's from his favorite server at Taco Bell and they sent a plate of nachos. The next card has a riddle. "Why did the birthday boy cross the road? To get across the border". It has a green card in it and Jay says to put it in his wallet, it's not a library card, you only get one. The final gift is from Jay. It has an 8 x 10 and the weapon that Jay loaded his boomstick with. Jay says he probably doesn't need another after he used it against him at SNS, but he probably has the receipt. He goes to hit Jamin, but Jamin ducks, and fires back.



He then grabs a cake off the table at ringside and plasters it in Jay's face.

In the back, Rockstar Spud & Ryan Howe ask Tony Gunn if he's sure he wants to go through with the match with Randy Royal. Gunn says he doesn't care, he was stabbed in the back, and wants to teach Randy a lesson. We then see Randy Royal approach Chris Sharpe, who will referee the Royal-Gunn match. He asks Sharpe how his hand will be tied behind his back, because he has allergies. Sharpe says they are using handcuffs, and Royal takes a good long look at them.



OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Eddie F. Diamond (w/Timmy Danger) vs. Flash Flanagan (w/Shiloh Jonze {on commentary}, Raul LaMotta, & Joe Coleman) [c]

Flash ambushes EFD, but EFD comes back. He goes for the Soulja Boy Shuffle, but is tripped by Raul. Flash hits EFD and chokes him. EFD comes back with a sunset flip, but Flash kicks out. He clotheslines and slams EFD, but misses a legdrop. EFD hits an inverted atomic drop, punches Flash, hits a back elbow, and a backdrop. He connects with the Soulja Boy Shuffle, but Raul gets on the apron distracting the ref. Flash hits EFD from behind, but Danger trips him. The Marauders attack Danger which distracts EFD, and Flash rolls him up with his feet on the ropes for 3.

FIRST ROUND of the 2ND ANNUAL NIGHTMARE CUP: "The VIP Club" J. Best & "VIP" Joe Rosa (w/"The Mexicutioner" Roberto De Luna) vs. Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez

Roberto distracts Hayes allowing Rosa & Best to attack from behind. Rosa hits a front slam on Hayes. He hits Ali and with the ref trying to keep Ali in his corner, Roberto chokes Hayes over the rope. Rosa with an elbow drop. Best is tagged and kicks Hayes and drives his shoulder into him in the corner. Best tags Rosa, who hits Hayes in the ribcage. He drops an elbow and tags Best. Best misses a kneedrop. He then tries to charge Hayes in the corner, but Hayes moves. and tags Ali. Ali comes in on fire, faceplanting Best and delivering a backdrop to Rosa. He hits an underhook DDT on Best, but Rosa stops the count. Ali hits the neckbreaker on Rosa and Ali & Hayes throw Best & Rosa into each other.



All of a sudden, the Marauders run out and attack everyone, including shots with the kendo stick from Flash.

Jessie Godderz walks out in the bunny suit and again blames Dean Hill for his problems. He says Dean is not a real man, or a real cop, and he couldn't even protect his own home recently from a burglary. He tells Dean to get in the ring.



Dean gets in and says that Jessie put himself in this situation and that they don't need to go here. He tells Jessie to let it go. Jessie then mentions knowing where Dean leaves his money on the nightstand. Dean gets back in and says Jessie better pack a lunch, because he will be here next week to kick his ***.



"The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal vs. Tony Gunn

Referee Chris Sharpe handcuffs Royal, but as he checks on Gunn in his corner, Royal spits out a key from his mouth and unlocks the handcuffs. He attacks Gunn, throws him into the ringpost, and then handcuffs him to the ringpost. He then lays into Gunn with a steel chair.

OVW TV #730 Preview: Jessie Godderz vs. Dean Hill!

Episode #730 will be taped Wednesday, August 14th.

Here's what we already know:



Jessie Godderz blames "The Legendary Voice of OVW" Dean Hill for his losing streak and the fact that he has to wrestle in the pink bunny suit. Will Jessie finally get a win, or did he bite off more than he can chew?



The OVW Television Title is on the line as Flash Flanagan of the Marauders defends against Rudy Switchblade, but Rudy will have to watch out for the rest of the Marauders at ringside.



Speaking of the Marauders, what was their reasoning for ruining the first round match of the 2nd Annual Nightmare Cup between the VIP Club and the OVW Southern tag Team Champions, Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez?



What will Jay Bradley have to say after Jamin Olivencia courteously gave him his entire birthday cake?



What condition is Tony Gunn in after Randy Royal snapped and repeatedly hit him with a chair last week?



Will the Bodyguy hope for a better showing after his official debut was ruined by the Assassin?

OVW TV #730: "Jay Bradley Appreciation Night"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, August 14, 2013. In this episode, Flash Flanagan defends the TV Title against Rudy Switchblade, Dean Hill goes 1-on-1 with Jessie Godderz, an announcement regarding the OVW Femme Fatales, Jamin Olivencia throws a Jay Bradley Appreciation Party, plus more!

Without further ado:

Footage is shown from earlier in the day of Randy Royal walking into the building and being approached by Chris Sharpe. Sharpe informs him that he has been suspended for his actions last week and is banned from being in the building.



OVW TELEVISION TITLE: Rudy Switchblade vs. Flash Flanagan (w/Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, & Joe Coleman) [c]

Rudy with a roundhouse kick and a dropkick. He kicks Flash in the chest. Flash knees Rudy and chops him in the corner. Rudy comes back and chops Flash. Flash throws Rudy into the ropes. Rudy hangs in them, Flash charges, and Rudy moves. Flash flies to the outside. Shiloh clocks Rudy while the ref is distracted by the other Marauders. Flash chokes him and rakes his face across the top rope. Rudy tries to fire back, but Flash kicks him and throws him to the outside. He distracts the ref which allows the Marauders to hit Rudy on the outside. Flash goes out and slams Rudy on the floor and delivers a diving elbow from the ring apron. He rolls in and grabs Rudy and suplexes him in for 2. He clubs Rudy, but Rudy comes back with a sunset flip. The Marauders have the ref distracted again and there is no count. Flash kicks out and goes for a flying elbow, but misses. Rudy fires back and backflips Flash. He goes for the Boston crab, but Flash kicks him off. He charges at Rudy, but runs into a dropkick. He hits Rudy off the top, but runs into another Boston crab. The Marauders distract Rudy and as he goes after them, Flash gets the kendo stick and cracks Rudy in the head. The ref turns to make the 3.

WINNER and STILL OVW TV CHAMPION: FLASH by pinfall.



Shiloh says the Marauders are looking for recruits and want to know if anyone in the back has what it takes to join them. "Marksman" Nick Dumeyer comes out and says he can help them win, and they can help him win.



They beat "Fudd-meyer" down as SHiloh keeps calling him, and ask if there is anyone else in the back. Mohamad Ali Vaez and Michael Hayes come out and say they don't want to join, but they want to kick butt after they tried costing them their chance at the Nightmare Cup last week.



The VIP Club comes out also, and Joe Rosa says that while he admires the Marauders' strength in numbers, they also ruined their chance as well. Chris Sharpe runs in and says he got word from the back that they will have a 3-team tag match tonight with the winning team advancing in the Nightmare Cup.

In the back, the Bodyguy approaches "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus and asks him to be his partner tonight. He says his only task is to make sure "the masked guy" stays out of his match tonight. 4M accepts.



Jamin Olivencia comes out and says it's only fair for him to reciprocate to Jay Bradley what Jay gave to him last week. Since Jay threw him a party for his birthday, he is throwing a party for "Jay Bradley Appreciation Night" since they are apparently "friends" now.



Jay comes out and says he doesn't trust Jamin. Jamin says he got Jay some gifts and first brings out some ladies (Lylah, Jessie Belle, & Rachel). The first gift is on the monitors and it is a picture of Jay that says #LookUgly.



Lylah whispers to Jamin that it is actually "Win Ugly". Jamin says he made a mistake, but he hopes Jay likes the pink tablecloth and unicorn pinata since he knows Jay likes those things. Finally, his big gift is a BROOM stick.



Jay says it's a boomstick, and Jamin should know since he's hit him with so many of them. Jamin says that's okay, he also has a few pies for him. Jamin & Jay each grab one and chase each other around the announce table with them. Jamin throws one at Jay, but Jay ducks and it ends up in Lylah's face. Jamin then hits Jay with one and busts the pinata over him and celebrates.



Dean Hill is in the ring and asks the Femme Fatales to come out and join him. As they all enter, Dean tells them that they will all be participating in a "Miss OVW" contest. The even will take place for the next several weeks and end at the October Saturday Night Special. Trina takes the mic and says that the news is fine, but she has an issue with Lei'd Tapa. Taeler Hendrix grabs the mic and says that everyone should be talking about her. The Femme Fatales begin pushing and shoving each other. Tapa tries to hit Trina with a big boot, but Trina ducks and hits a DDT to leave Tapa laying.



As the ladies exit, Jessie Godderz comes out and says he is giving Dean Hill one last chance to call off the match. Dean says he will meet him in the ring later tonight to kick his butt.



The Bodyguy & 4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus vs. "Lambda Lambda Lambda" Stephon J. Baxter III & Albert Einstein Baxter II

The Bodyguy tells 4M to stand at the curtain and watch for the "masked man". He asks for his music to disrobe, but the Assassin's hits. The Assassin comes out of the opposite curtain and sneaks in the ring behind Bodyguy.



Bodyguy turns into a massive clothesline once again. The ref goes to call the match off, but 4M says he will fight them in a handicap match.

HANDICAP MATCH: 4M: "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus vs. "Lambda Lambda Lambda" Stephon J. Baxter III & Albert Einstein Baxter II

Albert locks up with 4M, but 4M shoves him across the ring. Albert tags Stephon. Stephon is thrown off the ropes where Albert blind tags. Stephon crawls between 4M's legs and stays on all fours behind him. 4M looks up to see Albert flying off the top rope with a dropkick, which knocks him over Stephon. Albert gets the 1-2-3.

WINNERS: BAXTERS by pinfall.

Jessie Godderz comes out and tells Dean to forfeit. Dean gets up and walks into the ring, even though Jessie warns him not to. Dean casually takes off his suit jacket and rolls up his sleeves.



"Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz vs. Dean Hill

Dean folds up his suit jacket and hands it to the ref. As the ref goes to lay it on the outside, Dean low blows Jessie and the ref turns around to make the 1-2-3!

WINNER: DEAN HILL by pinfall.

With Hayes & Ali arguing with the Marauders, the VIP Club attacks from behind. They deliver a double suplex to Hayes. Flash tags himself in and hits and trips Hayes. Raul comes in and kicks Hayes, but Rosa tags himself in. Along with Roberto, they try to suplex Hayes again, but he reverses it into a double DDT. He makes the tag to Ali, who comes in firing away on Raul and hitting a neckbreaker on Flash. He hits a chinbuster on Raul. Coleman gets on the apron and pulls Ali's head down across it. Rosa dives out on the rest of his VIP Club and Shiloh & Coleman on the outside. Raul grabs Ali as Flash goes up top with the kendo stick, but Hayes gets up and pushes Flash off the top rope. Ali rolls Raul up to get the 3.
