WWE Network July 4th Special

So WWE is gonna be showing a supercard from Sumo Hall in Tokyo on July 4th starting at 6:30 AM Eastern time. They already announced Cena, Lesnar, Jericho and Kevin Owens Vs. Fin Balor for the NXT title. This is the kind of stuff I've been wanting more of from the network, and I'm expecting it to deliver. If nothing else, that Owens Vs. Balor match should be awesome, and you just know that Balor is gonna have some crazy ass paint and entrance for that show. Be interesting to see how many Bullet Club shirts are in the audience, and if the Japanese fans accidentally chant Devitt.

Above is video of NXT General Manager William Regal announcing the WWE Network Supercard event for July 4th. As noted, the event will air live from Tokyo, Japan at 6:30am EST at Sumo Hall.

Besides Finn Balor vs. NXT Champion Kevin Owens, the updated announced roster for the live special includes Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, WWE United States Champion John Cena, The Lucha Dragons, Paige and Neville. Other Superstars advertised but not mentioned in tonight's announcement include King Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day and the injured Hideo Itami.

With Balor now facing Owens on the show, there's some speculation that Lesnar could end up facing Jericho. Jericho vs. Balor was scheduled but Jericho is now without an opponent. As noted, this is the same event that Lesnar vs. Kofi Kingston has been advertised for but that could change now that it will be airing live.

As noted, WWE will broadcast a WWE Network Supercard event live from Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday, July 4th. The event will air live at 6:30am EST. Below is the full card but it should be noted that the WWE Tag Team Title Match is likely to be changed with Tyson Kidd's injury.
