He's an idiot, and an asshole, and in no way does he represent Texas. What he did was disgusting, wrong, and down right pathetic. It is one thing to give a kid a simple pop on the butt when they actually do something wrong, but to mercilessly beat them with a belt, for nothing, that's just ridiculous.

I've wanted, for a while now, to get the dictionaries to change "Parent" to purely be a verb.  Too many people have it ascribed as nouns who are just... just wrong.
