Im a big time Offspring fan, and their new cd released and I was a bit disappointed, but again its hard to be punk into your late thirties, but there was a gem or two off their new album, really liked this song.

Its such an interesting CD cuz I feel like there is at least one song that sounds something similar to a song from most of their previous CDs. There's one thats just really fucking awful but a few real gems like you said.

How do you feel about the dirty magic revamp? Original is better to me but it sure was nice to hear that again.

Yeah, Dirty Magic I prefered the original, but it wasnt done too bad. His voice has changed a bit tho, so maybe thats why I like the original. I hope that Summer Crusin song or whatever was mocking current music (ive heard it was) if not, god damn that was gay.

Aside from the song above which I, and many ppl on Youtube said was the best on the CD, I also liked "Secrets from the Underground", "Dividing by Zero", and "The Future is Now"

god damn, i'm a huge Offspring fan and i didn't even know this was out. Shows that a) i really should use the internets for more than games and EFK and 3) i really should use the internets more to look at EFK

Edit: Tested a few tracks, i like the new dirty magic because it shows they aren't ignoring their old material (even though Noodles has said in the past that he hates playing old songs... screw him) I heard a one i liked, one i loved and then i heard the track that cleched me so tight you couldn't have fit a offspring concert ticket between my cheeks

Thought I had posted in this thread for obvious reasons.  Honestly maybe its me being a bit biased at the fact that the Offspring are my favorite band, but I absolutely love this album.

Been bumping Cruising California a lot just cause it's upbeat and comical.  I really love the fact that the offspring have matured through time yet can still put out just plain fun stupid songs like that.  As far as OC Guns is concerned I don't see the hate you guys have for it.  All I Have Left is You and Days Go By are nice ballad styles while Hurting as One and I Wanna Secret Family With You sound like stuff they would have put on Americana (My favorite album from them)
