MFX138 – Shut Up Hitler.

It's been a long month but your worries are about to disappear and the entertainment factor in your life is going to go off the scale – cause MFX is back, baby!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in pro wrestling, pop culture and everything in between.  On the show this week...

The lads hit the ground running with some chat about whether or not Britain should stay in the EU.  Don't worry it's more fun than it sounds!  They cover all the recent celebrity deaths, which is pretty morbid but we can't not talk about it – everyone famous is dying!
They answer all your emails, with tales of school yard pranks, like pooping in school bags and a real kids Fight Club!

Duckman runs down some of his favourite TV show of the year.  Sir Ian reviews Superman vs. Batman.  They talk the Rouge One trailer and Captain America 3: Civil War.  Plus Duckman tries to keep Sir Ian on track when it comes to following all the superhero movies and universes we now have.

There's plenty of pro wrestling talk with the recent episodes of WWE Raw discussed, the good, bad and ugly since WrestleMania is given the MFX treatment.  They talk WWE's depth of talent they now have lined up, plus they preview Payback.  There's even some talk on TNA's long term future...yep.

MFX Alternative Audio is back with one of the worst matches EVER.  Shelly Martinez vs Rebel from recent TNA all Knockouts PPV.  The amount of botches and side boob on show is truly stunning.  Here's the match for you to watch as Dirk Boogerpants and Chet Awesome commentate on this abomination of a match:

MFX139 – The Last Ballad of Rybitch.

It's that time once again – MFX is back to bring you the kind of loosely based around pro wrestling podcast that will tickle your funny bone until you squirt.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in pro wrestling, pop culture and everything in between.  On the show this week...

There's been the annual spring clean of WWE's jobber talent, so the lads discuss all the recent firings and get an exclusive interview with Rybitch on his recent failed contract negotiations with Vince McMahon and what the future holds for The Big Guy – it involves living in a cardboard box.

With all the WWE chatter out of the way, the lads answer your emails – with three cracking news stories sent in involving the public renaming a local school, a Nazi dog, a ridiculously named Policeman and a sex toy mistaken for an angel, that leave the lads laughing so much they almost choke to death!

One of the weirdest matches we've ever seen has been sent in for this week's MFX Alternative Audio.  It's from Japan, there's a ladder that's the champion and so much weirdness.  Here's the match for you to watch as Dirk Boogerpants and Chet Awesome commentate on this bizarre match:

MFX140 – Brand Splits, Sex Salads and Civil War.

This show was recorded before RAW this week (so no chat about John Cena's return and his big angle with AJ Styles).  There's tons of wrestling chat to kick the show off this week, with loads on the 'New Era' in WWE, the Roman Reigns Project, Seth Rollins making his return from injury, Cody Rhodes leaving WWE, the brand split and the weird news that the co-founder of PayPal has been funding Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker.  Plenty of insight and laughs here.

The lads answer all your emails, which leads them to tons of Simpsons quotes.  They debate who should be Brock Lesnar's opponent at WrestleMania 32.  Plus, they mark out like crazy over Captain America 3: Civil War.  There's so much love for this movie it's downright sickening.

The show is wrapped up as usual with the Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award.  Four cracking stories this week including a statue destroying selfie addict, a grammatical mistake that ends up with all Texas Republicans being called gay, by the Republican Party, there's some terrible parenting and a vegan failing to climb a mountain.

1. No love for the Alien: Covenant trailer in the hype discussion? Sad. (Maybe I'm just being a delusional Alien fanboy, but this one actually looks like a return to form.)

2. The HHH voicemails were awesome. But it needed a Gameboy cameo somewhere, somehow. I mean we had a Nee Nor reference but no Gameboy? Sad.

Cheers Ferg!  What did you make of The Last Jedi trailer?  I didn't even know there was a new Alien film coming out! I couldn't finish Prometheus so my interest levels on that franchise are pretty low.  I'll check it out though, once I stop watching the Thor trailer over and over!!

I'm sure Gameboy will reappear at some point...knowing him there's more to this story than meets the eye!

Cheers for listening and the feedback.  We really appreciate it.  Hopefully now life is settling down a bit for Ian and his family, we can get a show more regularly.  Maybe once a month, but I'd like to aim for one every 2 weeks if we can.  We'll see how it goes.

Cheers Ferg!  What did you make of The Last Jedi trailer?

Obviously it's just a teaser, but what they showed looked pretty damn good. When Drunkferg watched it, he may have thrown money at the computer screen.

I didn't even know there was a new Alien film coming out! I couldn't finish Prometheus so my interest levels on that franchise are pretty low.  I'll check it out though, once I stop watching the Thor trailer over and over!!

It's coming out next month.

Don't blame you on Prometheus. That film was... not the best. Better than the Alien vs Predator films, but that's not a high bar to set. TBH though, I'm not really sure you can call Prometheus an actual Alien film. There was a lot of behind the scenes drama with that, where it started as an Alien prequel, then they decided it wasn't going to be one, then changed their minds again and that schitzophrenia definitely bled into the final product.  This one, while unfortunately a direct sequel to that, looks a lot better. It's probably not going to be as good as the original two... but hopefully will be better than the rest.
