Comparing Yourself To Your Peers All Part Of Human Nature?

Have you ever found yourself comparing yourself to other people in your age bracket to see how they are living vs how you are living? Is this all part of human nature? You can take two people in their early 30's one may be married, have children or at least in a relationship and have children and other responsibilities while someone else may be childless and childlike in spite of being the same age. There can also be other variations of the two like a mature responsible person who lives alone and doesn't have a family and a person who has a family who is immature and ill responsible.
