Vestron Video is back..sort of. Lionsgate's new Vestron video collectors series

if you're a 80's and 90's kid you may remember the name Vestron Video or at least the names of some of their titles such as The Gate, Return of the living dead part three, The Parents, Slaughter High among many others. Well Lionsgate has decided to jump on the cult classics re-releasing band wagon which is helmed by such labels as Arrow Video, Vinegar syndrome, Grindhouse releasing, Blue Underground, Something weird video, Synapse, Sevrin and Scream/Shout Factory to name a few and is bringing back the Vestron Video label and is releasing many of the cult classics produced and released by the label on remastered Blu-ray. Starting with Chopping mall, Blood Diner, Waxwork one and two and ending the year with Return of the living dead part three and CHUD 2: Bud the Chud. With more titles coming next year among with are rumored to be The Parents, The Gate and Lair of the White Worm. Now these titles are going to be limited to a single run ala titles from the Disney vault. So once they stop the production run on a title that is it.
