Most of the origin movies / stories are almost always against an evil version of the hero - see Black Panther, Ant Man, Dr. Strange.

I think Thor (and GoG) didn't do enough to explain the Marvel cosmos to the viewers.  Since the rest of the movies are based on Earth, they had to quickly jam through the rest of the space stuff to anyone watching.

I watched for the most part Thor: Ragnorok? the other day.. i kept drifting in and out for the most part.  And I was like "You missed the last avengers movie for this shit"

Black Death

glad to hear it ... what your next movie
"Asuka, gives you two thumbs up"

I thought that the "Dormamu, I've come to bargain" scene was an incredibly clever way to defeat a nigh unbeatable foe.

Strange was like an annoying gnat to Dormamu. He was just ridding himself of the annoyance.
