"Buckwild" star Shain Gandee was found dead, along with his uncle (48) and a friend (27), in a Ford Bronco at the end of a long dirt road in Sissonville, KY. Gandee was only 21 years old.

Authorities haven't commented on the cause of death, except that there was no foul play. Since the car was sitting in mud and the muffler was below the surface, many believe that the engine kept running and filling up the cabin of the vehicle with fatal carbon monoxide.

"Buckwild" premiered on MTV in January and follows nine friends from West Virginia. Gandee was the big star of the controversial show and was usually responsible for the many exploits. But because the show has yet to become a hit, Gandee likely earned only a few thousand dollars. This is why his family is now asking for donations for his funeral.

Gandee is the third "Buckwild" castmember to make the news. First, Michael Douglas Burford was charged with drinking and driving. And just recently, Salwa Amin was arrested for possession of oxycodone and heroin with the intent to sell.

The first season of MTV's "Buckwild" TV show had ratings that were good enough to move forward with a second season. But when cast members started getting arrested and Shain Gandee ended up dying, the network decided to abandon the show.

That angered producer JP Williams, who promised that he'll take "Buckwild" to another network and even has plans for a movie based on the reality series. But MTV wants the show gone permanently and is not allowing for its continuation on another network. Instead, MTV will hold on to the property to make sure that Williams or anyone else wouldn't be able to do anything with it.

Williams responded to that decision, stating: "MTV is the most hypocritical network out there. [They] keep promoting premarital sex and promoting leaving the baby after you have it. I'm so glad they have found their moral bar."
