"Glee" Star Cory Monteith Dead at 31

It has been confirmed that "Glee" star Cory Monteith was found dead at a Vancouver hotel on Saturday, the day he was expected to check out. When he missed his checkout time, hotel staff went to his room and discovered his body. Monteith was only 31 years old.

Police said that the actor was with other people on Friday night. Hotel video showed him returning to his room alone early Saturday morning. Police believe he was alone when he died. No cause of death was given and no foul play is suspected. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Monteith has been known for battling a substance addiction. He voluntarily checked himself into rehab numerous times, including back in March.

The actor played Finn Hudson, the lovable boy-next door, on "Glee" since it debuted in 2009. He also has a role in the upcoming independent film "All the Wrong Reasons." It's unclear how his sudden passing would impact production on "Glee," which is scheduled to premiere its fifth season on September 19th.

This guy was a recovering addict, who was clean whilst on set and with his girlfriend.

But when he got away from them...bad things happened.

Heroin and alcohol apparently played part in his death.
