I think he'll be done.....if that quad injury or whatever is as bad it is, and IF he has to deal with a new HC I think he'll hang it up.

IF Gase or Del Rio stays and gets promoted and he can fully rehab his leg I think we might see him, because now with CJ Anderson emerging as a backfield animal he can carry some of the load.

His competitive fire burns too bright.  He's another Favre.  He'll be back.

100% Peyton will retire.

But maybe not this coming year. Surely he will though. :)

Jon

He'll be back for at least another season in my expert opinion.

James, everytime you post in the OOC your perception of "yourself" is just as apparently off key 'in game' as GM Franchise as it is 'out of game' as yourself lol.

Now I know how Franchise feels every game.  Speak your mind and you get singled out for it.

I think if he was going to, Fox would've stayed.  What with him leaving and Peyton's injury, all signs seem to be pointing towards retirement which is what I voted for in the poll though I personally don't want him too lol.  It's similar to what happened at the end of his run in Indy though, so anything's possible.

As i been stating on NFL.com Payton has Brett Farve syndrome. He needs to hang it up because he is hurting his legacy still playing.

Yeah having the seasons he's had after four neck surgeries really hurts his legacy as the greatest regular season qb ever

I don't get the 'hurting his legacy' thing.

Jordan played for the Wizards and was awful and no one holds that against him.

Manning could play for 5 more years and play terribly in all of them and he'll still be on of the best ever.

I have a feeling he'll retire, but it won't have anything to do with him worrying about hurting his legacy.

Nothing hurt his legacy at all. His health will be the main reason for the final decision he makes about his career.
