No he didn't, lol.

He got outstruck by like 40 strikes.

The only reason this fight was as close as it was, was because Henderson came out slow. But I thought Smooth easily took the last 3 rounds. Henderson just did more damage.

Melendez winning that fight would have been complete shit. You want to be champ... then beat the champ.

Looking forward to a second installment of this fight. Tonight's fight was very entertaining.

No way, the only 2 rounds where there was a CLEAR winner we're 1 & 5 and those were both to Melendez. Melendez landed much cleaner power shots, caught almost all of Henderson's kicks and stuffed takedown attempts much better in these two rounds, let alone is controlled the fight.

Round 2 was close, but again...Benson might have landed more strikes, but Melendez was the aggressor for most of the round, landed more power strikes and was catching all of Bensons kicks above the waist.

3 & 4 again were close, Id give them to the champ.

Chael Sonnen, Brian Stann, and Ariel Helwani also agree with me.
