I'm fine with Rivers being in there... but didn't think Tom Brady had a Pro Bowl season.

Well he would be doing better if he had some decent receivers to throw to, lol.

So true... but as a player would you rather be initially selected as part of the team or just a replacement?

While still better to be initially selected it's still better to be a replacement than to not be there at all.

In any case, it gives them a chance to take a trip to Hawaii (if they still play it there...I don't remember) with their families, and have a good time not sulking about not getting to the Super Bowl while most of the rest of the world doesn't even bother to watch the game at all.

NBA ALL-STAR GAME IS FARRRRRRRR WORSE IN MY OPINION...Kobe Bryant is currently one of the top two vote getters at guard.

I'd be content with dropping the game and just acknowledging it as like an 'award' as such as voted by the media/fans/coaches. Kind of shit if one of your dreams has been to be a pro bowler and they can the whole process.

This is what I said in the other thread. That's all it is which is why no one cares about it anymore. As far as fan voting goes for the NFL and NBA All Star Games well I think Charles Barkley has it right...

I appreciate the new format of the pro bowl. Might make it more entertaining. This style did wonders for the NHL all star game.

Id be perfectly fine seeing all 5 of the Panthers have to skip the pro bowl this year...


Do wish Jordan Gross and Thomas Davis would've gotten in, and Graham Gano was really amazing on kick offs this year.
