Gameplay is better than last year.

Now I got to see if they fixed all the problems with franchise mode.

I haven't played the demo and I might get it on the PS4 around/after the holiday season. It looks promising though.

Owner mode is like past franchise modes (playing, drafting, free agency, ect) + added, more in depth stuff, like answering questions in the media, controlling your stadium (prices + upgrades), dealing with player personalities, and much more.

Is there a career mode? Is it good? How is it compared to last year?

Yea, just look at my last post, THATS career mode. I didnt play '13, but its ten folds better than '12 IMO.

Just got my copy of Madden ... hadn't gotten it since Madden 11 so if any PS3er's want a go let me know.

The career mode has three options now.


PLAYER - play as one player (real, created, or HOF legend)

COACH - Run the team, draft, scout, sign and trade, play as the entire team

OWNER - Play as the entire team, manage prices, team relocation, fan happiness, and all that old school deep franchise stuff.


You can also run all 32 teams and choose between them (player mode for some, coach mode and owner for others, or all one w/e.



It's taken the best of all the old games and combine them and the infinity engine is ONE MILLION times better than last season, making things look much more fluid and realistic.
