Then it's time to go to player coaches.  I heard Massimo isn't doing anything this season.

The options are really limited. The coaching pool is thin.

My advice would be to hire Jerry as the head coach, and ask one of your bench players (Massimo, if he'd take it) to be a player/assistant. Maybe scoot him a little extra PR money as incentive.

Also both teams have assistants I think just no head coaches.

But it'd probably help to stop trying to throw money at a coach. Come to the table with an idea guys.

Which is exactly why I am not going to talk to him about the head coaching position.

You may need to talk to him anyway. Tell him the situation, explaun that no one else is as qualified for the job as he is. Appeal to him that the team needs him to step up if he would. If he's a competitor and a team player, he'll accept. If not, you may have to think outside the box a little.
