The thing im loving is that as part of the trade Free (in his last year, could be snatched) now has to be protected so he can't test FA or anything.

First, Boise owns the Calgary pick I believe.

Also, how can you trade Free when he isn't signed next year? He is protected from SL btw, not from testing FA, so you can protect him from the SL, but WE as a league can still sign him, at least, after the all star break. Some feel free to correct him if I'm wrong.
