I get that I should've done it before.  I just want to know if I'm actually able to do it now, to which I haven't gotten a direct response.  It's a bad idea regardless, but if I don't/can't it would just be that much worse.

I know you weren't, just providing my situation as an example.  And I know all about not getting straight answers just by talking with Sales last season.

I phrased it at the beginning to get his opinion on it but now I just want to know if I can or can't at this point with camp being over.

What fun would that be.  Remember this is still a game.  Think outside the box sometimes.  There is literally no end to the possibilities you can come up with.

I get that there should be some fun and mystery to some parts of the game, but this was really a minor thing that I wanted to see if it could be done for the sake of not totally wearing Danberry down over the course of the season.  If it could, I'd just get it done.  I know Newton's shit but he's the only other player on the team with the size to play the position.  If it couldn't, I could just shrug and move on.  The fluff was fine at first, but when it gets to the third time I have to ask on a minor issue to get an answer on something I can/can't do all it does is annoy me.  Same thing happened with Sales last season and it could've been avoided with him simply saying he didn't want to negotiate the second or third time instead of dragging it out for half the season until I gave up on it entirely.
