Winning is fun. 

But you've posted before about how frustrated you get with the game at times and have talked about stepping away from it because of getting frustrated.  That doesn't sound fun to me.

I don't see how not having fun is equivalent to winning in anything you do for leisure.

You can have fun and throw in the occasional no-comment as well. Sometimes it's fun not to talk to the press.

I have a lot of respect for how Talon is managing his team. He's right to be a tough on his players and coaches, he just chose the wrong battle this time.

I disagree, I think he's played it perfect. The bond between Cowboy and McCool is now broken. Hi unmotivated coach has walked. Talon sort of did what I thought was the impossible. Now he has a chance to build the team he wants.

He also had McCool playing the best ball he has in quite some time.

While his approach is a bit scary as a GM... Sometimes when you show no fear, good things can happen for standing up for yourself and the franchise that you represent. Most people, myself included, would have been content with the way the franchise was working instead of having the guts to make change.

Apparently everyone is tajing my statement out of context. I was merely speaking about this game and that sometimes just locking in instead of trying to find ways to generate or continue controversy is the best route to go. Sure that may not be as fun but its needed sometimes to win in this game.

Not gonna lie, it's all luck.  I just told myself at the start of the season I was going to go for whatever, take it and try to roll with the idea of discipline. 

Then got some advice from another GM who told me to keep on with it and to stick to my guns.

Just have to keep the momentum and build on your new reputation.  Your foundation is there just fortify it.
