Shouldnt be...anytime you rest a starter for no real reason isnt any good.  A handful of us, including myself, have made that grave mistake.

I would have easily protected Finkle over Hardaway.

Next season you have Plains and Cunningham on contract years... and you keep calling Plains best defensive player in the FBL... which means he's gonna want Yabla money now. And Cunningham is gonna want Creed money.

Having Finkle gave you some wiggle room that is now gone.

You can find a competent 6th man... cheap bench players are few and far between.

But this is coming form the guy that didn't want to pay Marx... >_>

That thought actually crossed my mind. But my answer to myswlf was he came straight out of high school and has put up ok numbers in his first two seasons but has a real chance to evolve into a great player.  So that plays into my philosophy of keeping one eye on the now and one on the future.

I thought Randle would have been expansioned, if I recall his scouting report, he was forecast to not really improve, but Im not sure if Justin had that report. (came from one of the expansion teams that year).

In the end though, Justin's rep is still strong enough to net a decent bench guy cheaper than he'd go to a team like mine or anyone with questionable rep, he'll be ok.
