I tried it a few seasons ago amd somebody mentioned to him recently.

Actually, you had him play the two guard when Shakers decided he didn't want to play in the final week of that season. You told him that he did a great job and asked if he would mind retraining to be a shooting guard permanently...

He was already trained at the position since he is a combo guard, and he he played well at the position. He never said he didn't want to play the position, he wasnt happy because you weren't paying attention and he lost confidence in you, not because you asked him to move to shooting guard.
