Just done a brief count, so numbers may be slightly off; 45 players needed amongst everyone (going off of the spreadsheet), 36 draftees left, and 6 non-Flips FA's. Anyone keeping track of this kind of thing and can double check the numbers? Just wondering at what point it will be scrambling time haha

That's why I traded into the 2nd round I counted something similar.

I think there are a few things missing from that spreadsheet, but I think my math has it around 40 open roster spots needed to fill...or something close to that.

Positional availability was also a large factor for me.

But how many of that are teams with multiple roster spots that don't even have picks and cannot get picks

Expansion teams cannot get into the Draft,  so take that out of the equation,  and take out all the complete teams that still have multiple picks they are not going to use.

Why would you trade picks from next season just to get a pick in this Draft that want going to be used anyway.

Position availability is a reason I can see as viable, but no reason to go into panic mode.

In regards to Black Death if he is up in the draft at any point he will have a maximum as you all do of 24 hours to make a pick. Gooch got screwed a bit because of the Colonel's no show, though the benefit is we welcome Gooch to the game!

Same for the draft. 24 hours to make your selection. If not...it's passed.

You could always (w/ the 24hr rule) do what NFL Fantasy does and do BPA and move on, kinda like an auto-pick. IE for BD, he needs a starting SG, so highest rated SG left goes to him.
