I've had one conversation with my players and I'm already just waiting for this season to end so I can get rid of them. Considering how good I was at building morale in Tempe, this is going to be a long hard season.

I think the JR/Perm trade works on both ends, if Franchise changes things up with his line up and gets Perm at 6th. George is an unknown commodity though, so who knows.

It does. Talon gets a passer and I get a scorer. I think point production will be my team's downfall. Perm averaged more than Code did last season. It's a win/win for both sides. But if course it's a "bad move" apparently when I think it's mutually beneficial for both teams involved.

Yeah. Plus you know he traded a player who went through training camp and for all intensive purposes wanted to be there. It's just a cringe-worthy move that harkens back to the Franchise of old. It's not like he made the trade for a superstar, he made a trade for a glorified 6th man... I mean, excellent job on Talon for swindling that deal.

It was also implied that I was on thin ice and probably going to be fired so what's it going to matter anyway? That was implied more than the George thing or anything else.

Love the post Powers, but to be honest if Jacksonville is the city that Tarbla wants to play for who would make a trade with you? Whoever got him would then need to trade him to Jacksonville because he won't play for them.
