told you jen , I thought the one mistake you made when talking to the agent was letting him know you were going to move Blair to the bench. I know you were being up front and honest , but by giving him your intentions for his client , you turn him hostile towards you and it sunk your talks.

You could have left out that one part , sign him and than talk to Blair about moving  to the bench.  Blair was walking around like wounded warrior , you could have easily sold him on how moving him to the bench would benefit him and the team

I have one more thing for you. I want to use the bench players more in the starting lineup in place of the guys who have signed elsewhere. I'd like to see how Shilton and Johnson cope with starting for us in preparation for next season. I'm confident that they are up to the task, but I'd like to know how you think that will affect morale?
