A major piece of advise you REALLY need to take.


Anytime you sign / FCD a contract that starts in the following season, be sure to add to the FCD "STARTING SEASON x"

Example:  It is season 17 now... I re-sign my Center Rik Kluff for an extension that will pay him 15MM for the next 3 years.

If I go to the FCD thread and post "Texas re-signs Rik Kluff for 3 years 15MM"  then my contract immediately goes into effect and puts me over the cap.

If I post "Starting Season 18, Texas signs Rik Kluff, 3 years 15MM" then NEXT season he is on a 3 year deal for 15MM a season.
